  • This is the best coverage. Very little sanding between coats
I have used the Deft satin finish in the past. Couldn't find it local anymore so I ordered online. This is the best coverage. Very little sanding between coats. Finishes go on smooth and look great. I did my whole dining room set (6 chairs, buffet and large table) with the Deft Satin Lacquer with 2 pints. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Good value, good product.
I have used Deft for the last 40 years or so. I have always liked lacquer for the fast dry time and ability to do multiple coats in a short time. I spray this product using a 3 to 1 ratio lacquer to lacquer thinner, and it sprays really well. I used Minwax lacquer for awhile until I rediscovered Deft. Deft is about 10$ a quart vs Minwax at about 15$. The choice is easy I get as good a finish with Deft as I do with Minwax. ... show more

  • smooth finish
I use a Rust-Oleum spray lacquer for a final coat on some wood objects. Many other lacquers will bubble up when I spray over them. Deft does not. Drys rapidly. Applies smoothly.

  • Great product and I never write reviews on great or horrible products
Great product. Easy to work with. Super easy clean up. The look and finish were exactly what my wife was after. I am a home builder who works a lot with fine Millwork/ trim/ cabinetry. I used it for so small projects at my own home. I am looking into larger quantities for bigger projects. Much better than the more well known brands... I won't blow up anyone's spot. ... show more

  • Item received is not item in listing
I specifically need 100% nitrocellulose for my project. The description indicates it is what I need. The item I received is not 100% nitrocellulose, there are 10 other items in this mix of liquid. Additionally the can has several dents which may compromise the bottom seal. I have submitted a report to the seller and await to hear for a resolution to the problem. UPDATE: The problem was resolved within 24 hours of my contacting the seller. I updated to 4 stars due to the item listing looks like a stock copy from the manufacturer, however the actual item received, while being similar and same manufacturer, is a different composition of ingredients. ... show more

  • Wonderful Acrylic Painting Sealer
I have bought the very expensive paint sealers and this one works best for my paintings....not kidding, the best with no brush marks and so simple to clean up and be done! Will buy again!

  • Tough as Nails once dried.
I use this product to coat finished wood carvings and its a great finish that is very durable, hard to scratch, and does not yellow. One of the best finishes out there in my opinion.
