  • This tent is great for any backpackers
Color: Green
If you’re looking for a good, cheap, compact, solo tent. This is the one. It was easy to put up. I actually used it during a thunderstorm, and the only thing I was worried about was the lightning. No water or creepy crawlers getting in. Great solo tent for sure!

  • Mostly great
Color: Green
This tent is small, light, and is super easy to put up and take down. Only negative is that it does not breathe that great and really collects condensation on the inside. Not a deal breaker for me, but may be for some.

  • Erected in 10 minutes straight from Amazon box 👍🏼
Color: Orange
This tent is compact and goes up quickly and easily. I raised it on my back lawn to check it out - I am happy so far. Rain tomorrow and Sunday so I’ll zip it up tight and see if it leaks. Instructions are a bit sparse. Use common sense. Stake down floor first then thread center pole and spring that into place. Then rain fly with Velcro strap around pole at center (slot to let strap fix to pole). Then hook fly into stakes - they actually are what keeps pole centered and tent erect. It packs small to strap to my handle bars. Very ingenious. Would I hike Pacific Crest Trail with it? Dunno. With lightness comes some fragility. One superior thing is the stakes. Very light, strong (~1/4 inch aluminum with good point) and unless you’re camped on bedrock this will make quick raising a breeze. The way the fly overhangs the base waterproof feature is ingenious. (see pic). Basically this tent is all screen. The fly is the solid opaque layer and not touching the screen. Ventilation and bug proofing looks to be exceptional. In a month riding from Williamsport Maryland down C&O Canal trail. There will be weather. At that point I’ll update. ... show more

  • Great First Backpacking Tent!
Color: Orange
This was my first ever backpacking tent. For the price you really cannot beat it! Super lightweight for the cost. The fabric is durable, sets up easy, really a decent tent! Because of the design, it's not the most comfortable to sit up in, but that's a small price to pay in my mind lol. I eventually upgraded to lighter tent, but if you're trying out backpacking this is a great choice. With that said, I still use this as a kayak camping tent sometimes! ... show more

  • Perfect for solo trips!
Color: Orange
This tent was perfect. Easy to set up and take down. Easily folded back down to a compact size. Lightweight. It retained heat well at night with the rain fly on. Makes solo trips easy and enjoyable.

  • It's ok. I don't love it.
Color: Orange
This tent is average. I camped alongside a river with it and because there are no vents after putting on the rainfly, I got some extreme condensation in the mornings. It was literally like the inside of my tent was sweating. Hopefully the amount of water buildup in the picture I posted of the inside back wall can be observed. It was everywhere along the walls of the rainfly and clung onto the mesh wall, making the inside wet. I know with camping alongside a river that it is hard to avoid condensation problems, but it has major issues if you plan to camp alongside any watershed with it. This is also a true 1 person tent with not much wiggle room. I'm under 5 feet, 103 pounds, and even I felt like this tent was too narrow to move around in. I was able store my 50L pack at the foot, but for taller folks, I don't think that will be possible if you want to keep your pack inside. Also, anyone who likes to spread out when they sleep or if they may be a little claustrophobic will not like it. I was also juuuuust able to sit up inside with my head touching the top. The thing I liked about it was how easy it was to set up. It took me about 5 minutes. Breakdown was also a breeze and was even quicker. I also loved that it was lightweight enough to ruck a short distance with it. In my case, about a mile--although I must say this is definitely NOT a backpacking tent for those seeking an ultralight setup. I took the initiative to weigh it out and it came out to over 4 lbs. For a one person tent, that is waaaay too heavy and there are other lighter options out there for that. Overall, for what I expected to use it for, it doesn't meet my expectations. I bought it to camp alongside lakes, rivers, and streams, and just the thought of the amount of condensation in the mornings is enough to have me return this. ... show more

  • Not far all terrains
Color: Orange
Its good and light, but it requieres a soft ground to use stakes. It cannot be used on hard surfaces like wood (for covered áreas and some hotels)

  • Excellent Tent for the Price. Fits Tall people
Color: Green
This tent has been a fantastic purchase. For the money, I am quite impressed. I have taken this on multi-day backpacking trips and deep winter camping expeditions. From sharp rocky mountains to soft desert sand, It has held up phenomenally well. The bottom shows no signs of punctures or tears after over a year of use and dozens of nights spent inside. Positives: -I would trust this test in wet and snowy conditions -I am 6' 4" and can sleep comfortably with my pack at the head of my sleeping pad. -The vestibule created by the rain fly is very spacious and can easily keep a 65L pack, boots, and extra gear dry and out of the elements. -Durability has been great and I camp mostly in the rocky mountains and deserts of the west -This can pack up small enough to strap to the outside of a smaller 30L pack or fit inside of a larger 65L pack. -Fast to setup with the single pole design Negatives: -This tent is not light "Ultra lightweight" at 4.5lbs (But I say this is a trade-off for durability) -The single-pole design doesn't leave a lot of room for side sleepers. I often find my back resting against the mesh and rainfly. I do use a 3" thick sleeping pad so that takes up some vertical space. A smaller person may not have this issue. - The Velcro on the rain fly opening is kinda meh and I wish it was just deleted from the design altogether. -Might need to buy beefier stakes (depending on your environment) Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. If you are looking for a compact tent to do short backpacking trips or even a tent to keep under your car seat for emergencies I would Highly recommend this option at this price point. ... show more
