  • Works very well! Bonds to fiberglass
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I used it on an unconventional repair and it worked surprisingly well! I was fixing an expensive shaker for a muscle car that had a crack in the corner. It’s made out of fiberglass and the resin adhered to it WAY better than expected, especially considering it’s on an edge where it’s not supported by much. Mixing was very easy and the product cured after about 48 hours. No bubbling or yellowing. I was very impressed! ... show more

  • Perfect clear easy to use
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I bought this resin to coat wooden rings I made. Directions are very clear, one to one ration by volume NOT by weight. Because the viscosities are different spoon measurements would be inaccurate, so I use an old medicine cup. Fill one to the 15ml and add the other until it reaches 30ml. Stir slowly until fully mixed and it’s ready to use! Every one of my projects set within 24 hours ( but I let sit for 48) resin set rock hard and crystal clear! I have not been able to avoid all bubbles, but the application I’m using this for does not require it to be perfectly bubble free. Some reviews I’ve come across on this brand complain of it not setting, or that it ruined/ essentially melted their molds. Do some research guys! Epoxy is a science BEFORE it is an art! If you don’t measure correctly it’s not going to set! If you use the wrong type of epoxy for your project it could ruin your mold. 2:1 and 1:1 epoxy are very different! It’s like the difference between using gasoline and diesel fuel, they both are fuel but they combust using different methods and put out different energy levels. 1:1 epoxy gets much hotter than 2 :1 epoxy and is NOT suitable for deep pours. Research and common sense! ... show more

  • Be patient and let it fully cure.
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
Perfect size for smaller projects. And very simple to use. It came will 2 little plastic things that I didn’t know what they were for. The next day I checked on my project and saw a tiny spot I missed with the epoxy. That’s what the little squeeze things were for. Filling in tiny spots. I used 1/2 of each bottle to do this little project. Turned out great!!! This was just a plain wooden piece. I put in a couple pieces of spare tile. Painted the wood. And added some handles. I love it! ... show more

  • Poorly-Translated Instructions, Otherwise Great Product
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
The instructions are very clearly translated from a different language based on the grammatical errors present. The product itself is simple enough to use without reading them, though. It will ALWAYS cure completely within 24 hours as long as you do the following: A: Mix equal parts of A and B (by VOLUME, not WEIGHT) otherwise it will never harden completely. B: Stir until it looks blended enough, then stir some more to make sure, otherwise it will not harden in certain parts. C: Do not mix in cheap plastic containers or any containers you plan on using for anything except resin pours, as this stuff heats up when curing, and is very hard to clean off surfaces once cured (although it is very easy to clean as a liquid) It will stay as liquid for ~20 minutes after mixing, then will slowly gel and solidify over the next 24 hours. Do not mess with it until 24 hours have passed, as it may not be completely cured in the bottom or middle of your project. When it dries fully it is very tough, it took a few good swings with a hammer to shatter a small test chunk I had made. It is also perfectly clear once it hardens, and bubbles are not an issue unless you are making taller/thicker resin pours, as the product stays liquid for long enough to allow bubbles to escape naturally from smaller setups. Even with colorants added (food coloring/acrylic paint in very small amounts) it still set up completely, it just took much longer to cure. Using resin-compatible dyes would solve this but I had to use what I already had on-hand. Additionally, this stuff is kind of sticky but that is to be expected of any product like this, and this product is actually very easy to clean up as long as it has not begun to harden. All in all, besides the lack of quality control regarding the instruction booklet, this two-part resin is great for small craft projects and repairs, and I'd definitely recommend it if you don't need a large quantity of resin. If you plan on using this kind of stuff frequently, I'd recommend buying larger containers. ... show more

  • Crystal clear and versatile
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
I've used this epoxy a bunch for little projects and it is excellent. It dries crystal clear and hard. I've mixed in oil and acrylic paints, nail polish, and glitter without any ill effects on hardening. The horse in the attached picture was created with the epoxy colored with paint and poured into a 3D printed puck. ... show more

  • Dries yellow, doesn’t stick to wood or paint, pools up on it self.
Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
Summary: Dries yellow Does not adhere to wood or paint Pools up on itself May ruin your project I regularly make epoxy resin products. I make cutting boards, river tables, signs etc. I made some signs for a client. Last minute they wanted to coat the signs in epoxy for durability. I was not able to get my normal epoxy in time for the wedding so I purchased this epoxy. I mixed this in a mixing cup with a paddle mixer and a drill. I stopped to scraped the sides and bottom and remix. I spread this on the signs and within minutes it started pulling away from the surface and pooling on itself as if it was not sticking to the surface. I re-spread it and it did it again. It started to turn yellow as well. I immediately tried to scraped off what I could to salvage the signs but couldn’t not get it off. The little bit of epoxy left on the signs dried fine but cured yellow and absolutely ruined the signs. I had to remake them before the clients wedding. It dries yellow, does not stick to paint or wood, and pools up. Beware it will ruin your project. Don’t buy this even if it’s an emergency. I returned the rest of the product. The picture is of a sign painted white but the epoxy dried yellow. You can see his the epoxy pulled away and stuck to itself and turned yellow. ... show more
