I used this epoxy and hardener kit for a few DIY projects, 2 preserve flowers from my son’s funeral. Also a tabletop and some resin art pieces—and I’m thoroughly impressed! The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for a beginner like me. The mixing ratio was spot on (1:1), and I appreciated the smooth consistency during application. Once cured, the finish was glass-clear, with no bubbles (as long as you take your time mixing and pour slowly). It hardened evenly and has a high-gloss, professional look. I also liked that there was minimal odor and no yellowing after a few days of exposure to sunlight. Would absolutely buy again and recommend it to anyone looking for quality epoxy resin at a great Price.

The instructions are very clearly translated from a different language based on the grammatical errors present. The product itself is simple enough to use without reading them, though. It will ALWAYS cure completely within 24 hours as long as you do the following: A: Mix equal parts of A and B (by VOLUME, not WEIGHT) otherwise it will never harden completely. B: Stir until it looks blended enough, then stir some more to make sure, otherwise it will not harden in certain parts. C: Do not mix in cheap plastic containers or any containers you plan on using for anything except resin pours, as this stuff heats up when curing, and is very hard to clean off surfaces once cured (although it is very easy to clean as a liquid) It will stay as liquid for ~20 minutes after mixing, then will slowly gel and solidify over the next 24 hours. Do not mess with it until 24 hours have passed, as it may not be completely cured in the bottom or middle of your project. When it dries fully it is very tough, it took a few good swings with a hammer to shatter a small test chunk I had made. It is also perfectly clear once it hardens, and bubbles are not an issue unless you are making taller/thicker resin pours, as the product stays liquid for long enough to allow bubbles to escape naturally from smaller setups. Even with colorants added (food coloring/acrylic paint in very small amounts) it still set up completely, it just took much longer to cure. Using resin-compatible dyes would solve this but I had to use what I already had on-hand. Additionally, this stuff is kind of sticky but that is to be expected of any product like this, and this product is actually very easy to clean up as long as it has not begun to harden. All in all, besides the lack of quality control regarding the instruction booklet, this two-part resin is great for small craft projects and repairs, and I'd definitely recommend it if you don't need a large quantity of resin. If you plan on using this kind of stuff frequently, I'd recommend buying larger containers.

Set was very clear with no bubbles! It cures in less than an hour. Very fast to use. I recommend puting on cardboard and if you spill, clean with fingernail polish remover.

I finally tried the product out on a couple of my new molds and two tumblers. Well needless to say it’s doing this funky design on the tumblers. The blue mold was dry on top liquid in the middle and gel on the bottom while the other green mold never hardened on the top and was hard on the bottom. I couldn’t use one of the coaster molds because it was ruined. I initially thought it was user error, but I tried it on the tumblers and it’s not going well at all. Not a happy camper. I’ve even tried sitting a heater in the room to see if that would help. It’s 80 something degrees outside and I have the heater set at 83 degrees just to see if it would cure better. Ugh😩😩😩😩

This product is okay. The first time I used it it worked really good. So therefore that led me to buy a second set of bottles. The harder portion got really weird and clumped in the bottle. Almost like it turned moldy. I heated it up and it seemed to be okay. But I am waiting for this project to harden and I may revise my review. I still find it very odd that it clumped up.
