I use these 2mm bits to cut door hangers on a CNC from 5mm plywood and, as long as I run them at 100 ipm or less, they do a great job and hold up pretty good. Perfect for those of us using "3018" style CNC machines using soft woods or MDF. Basically a "down cut" bit that reduces any tear out on the surface. They worked really well with my 3018 CNC. Cuts nice detail and very minimal fuzz. Seems they may wear a little quick, but not sure what to expect and compare too. Otherwise I would order again.

The quality of my cuts has improved dramatically by changing from upcut mills to downcut. My only caution to a purchaser is not a criticism of the product but of the nature of downcut bits and that is the tendency to jam swarf into a single width cut. This packs the cut and slows the cutting.
