  • It is quiet as stated, starts easy and I can lift it into the back of a truck by my self.
Set name: 2500w Inverter Generator
This review is after 2 outing in my RV. I have about 40hr in the generator. To me the most important issue is starting and this start very easy for me. First pull is typical, unless I let it runs out of gas, then it's two or three. I relaced my old generator as I needed something lighter, I can lift this into the back of a truck my self -- old 72 year old man. It is much quitter than I expected and when running on econo mode it is VERY quite. My camping friends thanked me for replacing my other generator. The power output is as stated at a2000ft elevation for the load I tested it with -- space heater. However, at high altitude (+6000ft) the power output will drop below the stated rating -- It struggled to run my 1500W microwave, this is a normal issue all generator have --less oxygen up there. The Microwave was powered fine at 2500ft elevation. However, I think if I used high octane (91+) fuel it would run better, going to try it this next July up in the high mountain of Colorado. ... show more

  • Well constructed quiet 2500 watt generator !
Set name: 2500w Inverter Generator
Nice 2500 watt generator ! well constructed , everything fits as it should ! Came with oil and funnel kit . Very well packaged ! Starts right up after first fill of fuel . Very quiet for a generator , not silent but none are . Nice display gauge , unusual at this price point ! weighs about 50 pounds with gas and oil . about 17 1/2 inches tall including handle . I needed something less than 19 tall to fit under my workbench so it was perfect for my needs . I just need something for possible power outage for fridges and sump pump so this is plenty for me . display shows fuel level ,voltage output, amps ,etc.. nice instruction manual that is correct english ! Would recommend this generator from Aceup to anyone. Appears they are a stand alone company according to their website , not just selling someone elses rebranded product . They also sell a larger model that I was going to order but was not sure of height . That one should be good for someone needing more power . Very happy with my purchase and was impressed with how nice the construction and features were! Of course time will tell but it does what it is supposed to and seems VERY comparable to other generators in this class for substantial savings ! Eco mode is nice as it reduces RPM and noise level. I think anyone looking for an inverter generator in this class would be happy with it .Do not buy something too small for your needs though . Add up your appliances and base your generator output on that ! Remember generator surge watts are NOT running watts ! You will burn up your generator no matter who makes it ! ... show more

  • New to generator for small business needs
Set name: 1200w Gas Generator
Not too heavy for me to carry as a single Mom-prenuer doing outdoor farmers markets. Great little power generator for small needs. I was able to assemble and start with no assistance. Instructions were good and delivery was only a day late due to USPS. Pleased so far.

  • Small Generator Perfect for Camping
Set name: 1200w Gas Generator
The generator works great. I bought it over purchasing a 400 watt battery bank. So far, I’ve put about 7-8 hours of run time on it during a camping trip. The longest duration was 2 hrs continuously. The manufacturer states that the unit needs about 25 hours to be fully broken in. The good: - The unit charged all of our small devices such as cellphones and laptops without issue. - We were able blow up our air mattresses and really could be used to power temporary lighting or small appliances - The unit is small and compact; maybe taking up about 15” all the way around of storage space. - Unit comes with a top handle and is easy to move around; unit is not very heavy even with a full tank - The unit wasn’t loud to me, especially 30-50 ft away; sounds like a chainsaw on idle or dirt bike in neutral. My unit has a slight rattle that is worse with bad fuel but not bad with proper fuel; - Didn’t have any issue starting/stopping the unit multiple times throughout the day; as long as I followed the proper procedures The bad: - Only holds about 1 gallon of fuel; and each fill requires 1 gallon of gas plus 2oz of 2 cycle oil mixed. I had to mix in a 16 oz bottle first then fill up with gas the rest of the way. I shook the unit to make sure it’s all mixed up. - Lasted maybe 4-5 hours I found with minimal load. Still testing this though. Perhaps it will last 6 hours once fully broken in. Also, to get the max duration the fuel must be filled all the way to the line - Only has two three pronged outlets; it’s a small unit so something to consider - Because the unit is small and light; I had to put my foot or hand on the unit to hold it steady when pulling the cord. Not sure how safe this is in terms of risk of shock; best to wear rubber gloves and ensure the unit is grounded first. - Unit must be grounded like in my video; this is required according to the manual for safety; you’ll need to buy a proper grounding pole - There’s a strong odor when running so keep away from everyone as much as possible - Does not efficiently use all gas; I found that it will shut off when the gas is really low even though there’s still gas present; don’t expect it to burn dry but I think the tank design could be a little better to use up as much as possible - Doesn't come with a cover; would be nice to protect from the elements I was concerned based on other’s experiences that the unit wouldn’t work or was cheap. Will know once I get more than 25 hours. The unit’s longevity will also depend on how hard you push the unit. I bought it to handle <600 watts continuously as a more reliable substitute than a battery bank. It’s max is 900 watts per the manual. I also made the mistake of putting untreated fuel older than 30 days into the unit. Luckily it was just 16oz to test the unit. It’s imperative that you DO NOT put old untreated fuel in the unit. I noticed the engine sounded rougher and thought the unit was defective until I realized the issue. It’s recommended that you use fresh fuel treated with a stabilizer mixed with 2 cycle oil. Otherwise you risk the unit breaking down. For safety, I also ran all devices from a power surge protector and not directly connected to the unit. So far, I am happy with the unit and excited to use it again as it’s my first one. It serves my purpose which is to charge small units or run small appliances that amount to <600 watts vs $300 for a battery that has to be recharged. So far it’s worth the money. ... show more

  • Bad product with even worse support. Look elsewhere!
Set name: 1200w Gas Generator
I bought this "generator" from Amazon. It would not start at all during numerous attempts over a 5 day period. I did manage to contact a non-English speaking "tech support" person for help. She offered no help, but insisted that since I didn't buy the machine from them, I could not return it or exchange it, but call tech support where I bought it for help (but that is who I thought I was connected to!) Shortly after that call ended, I received a telephone call from another non-English speaking person who sounded like the same person, and was also of no help, but would only say I could not return this, nor would they exchange or replace it because I didn't buy it from them! I gave up arguing with these non-English speaking females, and continued to try starting the piece of junk with my wife's help. My rec-fuel was fresh, as was the 2-cycle oil and fuel stabilizer per the instruction manual. On my 10th attempt, the generator finally started and actually ran for ~2 minutes! On the next day, late morning, it was again extremely difficult for me to start it. It finally ran for ~30 seconds, coughed once, then stopped running. I have not been able to get it started again since then. This is a terrible product with the worst excuse for support. I advise Amazon to stop selling this item, or anything else from AceUp Energy. ... show more

  • Legitimately impressed
Set name: 1200w Gas Generator
It’s quite for what it is. It sounds like a weed eater at high idle. It ran a fridge, deep freeze, large fan and a Starlink simultaneously for 2 days straight due to a tornado. It starts on the first pull, extremely light weight and portable. It’s perfect for emergencies. Runs 3-3.5 hrs on a single tank of gas at a 75% load. It also has a dc outlet so you can trickle charge a solar battery bank or jump start a car. Run time is closer to 4 hrs trickle charging a solar bank. Simple to use. Kill switch to on ,throttle to choke, pull till it starts, set to run, plug in your extension cords and you’re good to go. Push the off switch to shut it off. ... show more

  • Generator
Set name: 1200w Gas Generator
This generator has been very reliable so far. It starts easily, runs smoothly, and provides enough power for my basic needs like lights, fan, TV, and charging devices. The fuel consumption is reasonable, and it doesn’t overheat even after running for several hours. The noise level is okay—not silent, but not unbearable either. The only downside is that it’s a bit heavy and could be easier to move around. Overall, it’s a good value for the price and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable generator for home or backup use. ... show more
