You get what you pay for but, it is NOT fire proof. None of these sub-300 buck safes are fireproof nor waterproof. They are good to stash stuff in there and then you hide the box since it will not resist drills nor dedicated burglars. And make sure to bolt it down at the bare minimum. There it sits, luckily unobtrusively. Even the instructions here on this site just mimic the one card they sent with product. To first get in, one must insert the key into the keyhole so designated on that sheet. BUT THERE IS NO KEYHOLE! Yep, got the keys. No phone number.Not eve a real product name. I’m waiting on a return to my email. Yeesht. Only advice I have...wrangle with this the minute it enters your door and make sure you order long before you’ll need it for a long vacation. Otherwise, you just paid over $100 for a hunk of black that can be used as a very small table top. Ahem! ... show more
