This being a brushed 390, I knew what to expect beforehand. Handles okay, but wish they had a wheel rotation tune option on the controller. For the price though, you cannot beat it. They mixed plastic and metal in the design which is what I prefer. Replacing metal parts are expensive compared to plastic. In terms of speed, more than adequate with the 4wd system. One battery comes within the casing but not plugged in yet so make sure to plug that in. Both batteries come pre-charged. Will need 2 AA for remote. Simple, lightweight, and pretty durable. Ran up trees and flip over stumps and hills. Good buy for all ages.

My son LOVES the mist feature and loves the music, 3 different songs, mist feature stays on for a couple minutes and turns off by itself even if driving (probably just to self preserve or something) and it comes with a little squirt bottle to refill the tiny water engine which my child also LOVES to do, lights flash slow or fast or stay on solid or can be off depending on what you pick. The only problem was the mist feature (my son’s favorite part) stopped working after a few days after getting it for Christmas. So I did a return/replace which is really inconvenient gas wise to have to take back the old one but so worth it for how much my 3 year old loves it and has fun. He plays with it himself and likes to have me control it as well mostly to chase it himself or with another car. He’s very smart but also is learning decently fast how to control it a little better. So that depends on the kid but it’s a toy that should last for years so that’s great too. I’m really happy with it, my partner is too, and most importantly our child loves it! Would definitely recommend!
