We got this for our 12 (almost 13) year old, who loves remote vehicles. Some have already discussed this, but confirming here that our experience with it has been smooth control and good responsiveness. It does take a little practice to get very good at it. Overall, the design has a nice splash to it, and it handles basic terrain just fine. We have a small remote control course at a public park near our house which is all dirt, and this did just fine bouncing up and around that area. It can sustain minor bumps just fine. I would be careful for falls any more than 3-5 feet though, so make sure it's on the ground and you're not trying to do significant jumping with it. Overall, it's smooth to control, has a great design and appears pretty durable. We're pretty happy with this!

I got this as a gift for my child and liked it so much I got it as a gift for a friends child. It’s affordable and fun. Easy to control. My favorite thing is that it’s compact. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. Remote is big enough that it doesn’t get lost.

It's always hard to figure out how much punishment an RC car is supposed to handle, so I don't know if my review indicates a problem with the device or with my use of it. After hitting a wall with the RC car a few times, the forward motion no longer was all that forward - it would constantly curve to the right. I could not figure out a way to fix the alignment of the forward motion, unfortunately. But because it's marketed as a "stunt" car, I'm a little disappointed that it seems to have become misaligned with one or two of my uses of it.
