No crimp tool? No problem! These are nice. I will say that I have two small complaints, that when combined, caused me to deduct a star from this rating. 1) the metal is pretty thin where the set screws go through and they may go too far and get jammed or crossthreaded if you aren't careful. 2) the shape of the end does not have sufficient clearance for the usage of wing nuts. I stacked three washers on top to alleviate this problem. Overall, good product at a good price and I would buy again if needed. ... show more

Easily accepts copper “0” gauge cable firmly. THE SET SCREW THREADS ARE THE SAME AS TUBES OF ANTI-SEIZE COMPOUND! Install the cable, turn the tube neck into the set screw threads, then slowly squeeze compound in while slowly rotating the cable. Then; set screw in place, clean up excess. It’s probably great if it applies to your particular system. It seems well built & sturdy, just a bit HUGE and not well suited to my particular needs. Maybe I read the description wrong or had on the wrong prescription glasses because I believed this item to be a smaller size, but I’m sure it works
