A great set of aluminum wire. 1/0 gage is rated for 100 amps, DC current. A major plus with this wire is the large number of strands, this makes the wire very flexible, plus the insulation is flexible as well, allowing it to be positioned into tight locations easily . My application was to install a 100amp hour 12 volt lithium battery along with a 1500 watt inverter in a minimum sized tool box , to make a portable 120vac power source. When you try to include a 150 amp inline fuse holder and a battery transfer switch all together in the same confined space you appreciate having the the wiring accommodate what your trying to do.

The wire was flexible enough and it was also easy enough to cut but I had no issues installing and going around things and pulling through. The conductivity of the actual metal inside I have no idea but seems to be sufficient for my needs which is 48 V battery bank for solar Set up that regularly sends 2500 watts through these wires.

As with everything else in life, you get what you pay for. I used this wiring kit to connect LiFePo4 batteries in parallel for a solar project. Although the shielding is a bit thick, the copper itself is fairly thick as well. I give it 4 stars because I knew what I was buying and it worked fine for the purpose I intended to use this for. I'm confident it will work fine for most entry to mid level audio systems. However, if you're going with a heavy audio systems, I recommend going with something else. It also comes with 10 battery terminal connectors and 10 heat shrink tubing.
