This safe has a good weight to it (35 pounds) which is about 15 pounds heavier than other comparable safes. This speaks to the quality. The instructions aren't that good, but if you read them several times you can piece things together. It's very easy to program and to use. The ancor screws are high quality, very strong, but I wouldn't recommend using the actual ancors because they are plastic. I used the screws to ancor the bottom of the safe to 2 pieces of wood with larger metal washers. If you're ancoring the bottom to wood, make sure the wood isn't particle board. For the wall ancors, I used large steel toggle bolts and steel wing nut ancors. I wouldn't recommend using any type of plastic or composite ancors. I would imagine the keypad mechanism will eventually fail, but this safe has a good quality key lock. It looks like the key lock would be very difficult to pick. Having the removable shelf in the safe is a nice feature.

Safe arrived well boxed, undamaged and fast. Looks like a cube, as pictured. Easy to operate, program, and install. It is not a “heavy” safe, but that’s what I needed. Comes with bolts and predrilled holes in back and bottom to securely bolt it down to something. Easy to install. The cube is roomy and holds letter size docs and files. The shelf is added bonus. I loved that it has additional keys for emergency use. Recommend for the price.

Easy to put together. It takes 4 AA batteries. But they aren't needed. They died within a week or so. The first time I went to open it. I had to use the key because the batteries died.

Safe is supposed to be water and fireproof and it’s not. Also the description said it had a led light and it doesn’t have that either. Directions are terrible and can’t hear the alarm it’s so low can only hear it standing next to it. Also it says 3 different sizes

So first, this safe comes with extremely limited instructions, but if you're patient, you'll figure it out. The instructions are pretty abysmal. And I'm wary as to how fireproof/waterproof it really is, so I'll be storing cash and sensitive docs in an additional fireproof/waterproof bag. It's an inexpensive safe, so adjust your expectations accordingly; at the end of the day, it's better than stuffing cash under your mattress or hiding not-in-use credit cards in your old textbooks. I was a little disappointed but it does the job for now.
