I bought the vertical version of this bunkie board to go on a day bed that doesn’t have enough slats on either end. This works perfectly, arrived in the specified time, and is very sturdy. The mattress no longer sags down at each end of the bed. I’ll be buying another one to go on the trundle!

Giving it 5 stars because it fit the bed frame & provided the support I was looking for! I was worried about creaking/squeaking with the wood on the metal bed frame - I’m not a small person and it’s like it’s not even there! What might be worth a deduction is how easily the mattress slid around once the vertical slat board was added which after awhile made the “board” bunch up. Annoying, yes. Easily fixable, also yes. I bought additional mattress gaskets to stop the mattress from moving and problem solved. Will update with any issues in the future. As of now it’s a sturdy well made product. Like many, we have an all metal platform bed for our queen mattress. The mattress constantly moved down and was becoming increasingly uncomfortable. The metal bars support the mattress, but our mattress was sinking between the metal slats. Adding this perpendicularly on top of the metal bars added much needed support, and reduced the movement of our mattress to near none. Using this along with your metal platform bed will prolong the life of your mattress. Also, saved us from shelling out money for a new mattress as this has helped tremendously. ... show more

I'd give it 5 stars but it came wet! They need to add a moisture absorbing packet in the box. The bags were full of condensation and the fabric was wet.
