The tablet is annoying to say the least
This thing is a pain in the ass to use. The power outlet is on the opposite side from the power button, do if your device is charging, you either have the cord being bent(not good for cord or device), or you hit the power button repeatedly & the device keeps turning off. Brand New and Won't perform firmware update!
I give this product a one-star review!!! I'm hoping to get some help with my brand new Lenovo Tab 10.1 I purchased today (Amazon Treasure Truck deal!). I've attempted a firmware update and am getting an error. I'm not sure why I would be seeing this given it is right out of the box. Any suggestions on how to go about solving this and getting the latest update? Interestingly, after I boot back up again normally, the 'System Update' icon has a red icon with '1' in it, and the text under the System Update says 'Updated to Android 9'. But when I run the check again, it still says a new version is available (S0001032_190920). It then forces me to download the whole 10004MB file again. Hopefully this can be fixed very soon then I will review again.

Good budget android tablet
This tablet meets my expectations exactly. I was aware that this was a budget tablet and not a massive screen, so I was aware of the limitations. Pros - Great battery life - Low price (got it on the Treasure Truck, so even better price) - Facial recognition works well, but not perfect. It typically gets it on the first or 2nd try, even when I'm wearing my glasses, but it's not as seamless as the new iPhone or Pixel 4's implementation - Good screen/display - Thin and light Cons - Micro USB charger, come on folks, let's drop this old format already - Android 9 with no plans to upgrade to 10 (started with 8, but there was an upgrade waiting when I got it) - Auto installed Lenovo Launcher, which is awful and embeds itself into the actual home screen. You can disable the app luckily, but there are several other pre-installed apps that are also bad and these can't be disabled. Fantastic Tablet
I have had nothing but good luck with Lenovo laptops over the years, so I decided to give their tablet a try. The tablet ships with Android 8.0, but immediately updates to 9.0 when you connect it to WiFi. The tablet is VERY responsive and has a beautiful display, battery life seems good as well. Face recognition work perfectly no matter which way the tablet is orientated and in various lighting conditions. I had no problems installing the various apps I use. I am very happy with my purchase, especially when you compare the price with other tablets of this size.

Good for the price, slow charging
This is definitely a downgrade from Samsung. I have a Lenovo laptop and desktop which are high end, I assumed the same for the tablet. Very slow charging. I charged for 12 hours the first time only to be at 35%, charged the next day about 16 hours only to be at 63%. The screen resolution isn't the greatest but I guess for the price it's good. Awkward placement of the power and volume buttons. All in all outta good for the price at $130 on the Amazon truck.

Great tablet, good performance
I need a basic android tablet for my business that would take photos quickly and not be sluggish. I was able to easily download the app I needed. Photos are good and takes 1 second or less to capture image. Another cheaper tablet I sent back last week took at least 6 seconds to capture image from time I clicked and resulted in missing the moment and long wait times, something we do not have time for in a busy environment. The only negative I have found is a short charging cable, but those are cheap so not a big deal.

The tablet ships with Android 8.0, but immediately updates to 9.0 when you connect it to WiFi. The tablet is VERY responsive and has a beautiful display, battery life seems good as well. Face recognition work perfectly no matter which way the tablet is orientated and in various lighting conditions. I had no problems installing the various apps I use. I am very happy with my purchase, especially when you compare the price with other tablets of this size.

Good for the price, slow charging
This is definitely a downgrade from Samsung. I have a Lenovo laptop and desktop which are high end, I assumed the same for the tablet. Very slow charging. I charged for 12 hours the first time only to be at 35%, charged the next day about 16 hours only to be at 63%. The screen resolution isn't the greatest but I guess for the price it's good. Awkward placement of the power and volume buttons. All in all outta good for the price at $130 on the Amazon truck.

Great tablet, good performance
I need a basic android tablet for my business that would take photos quickly and not be sluggish. I was able to easily download the app I needed. Photos are good and takes 1 second or less to capture image. Another cheaper tablet I sent back last week took at least 6 seconds to capture image from time I clicked and resulted in missing the moment and long wait times, something we do not have time for in a busy environment. The only negative I have found is a short charging cable, but those are cheap so not a big deal.
