    • Best Mincer I've Ever Used
This is my second garlic mincer in this style. My first one by Zyliss. It's the best way to mince garlic, and I'll never go back to any other style. Why? Because it minces several whole cloves at once, with ease, and thoroughly. No skins left behind. No missed spots. So easy to remove the finished product (twist to pull garlic out of teeth, making little wedges that easily scoop out. The ultra durable, hard plastic rinses clean in cold water, you'll never need to soap or scrub it. (Some kind of cold water, clean release super hard resin.) I like this Zyliss one best because of the deep capacity and ease of turning. My first one by another manufacturer took a lot more elbow grease to use, and was shallower. I was surprised at throwing 4 whole big cloves in and mincing them in under 10 seconds. Super fast! I like these so much I religiously buy them for friends, converting them all. Also minces ginger and turmeric root with equal ease and thoroughness, capturing their juices. And the plastic won't stain (turmeric is super staining stuff). Not great for a clove or two, if you’re grinding 3 or more it’s ideal. This grinder can do a large amount of garlic at once, recommended for serious cooks.

The media could not be loaded. It will do for me. I wanted and easy to clean garlic mincer, And a garlic mincer is what I got. Bonus that it's extremely easy to clean right after use. I used to use the press down version of this but my thumbs are shot and sore and this is a really cool alternative. If you feel comfortable with a twisting motion and pushing down motion I think this could be a good mincer. ... show more

I thought this would be an easy alternative to a garlic press, but it wasn't. It was very messy and hard to get the garlic out once it "minced" it.
