We used to have a similar squeezer. It was enamel coated and had an inferior metal under the enamel. The enamel chipped off and it was a big mess. This one is stainless steel, and after several weeks of daily use it's holding up well. The only disappointing thing is that the silicone covers on the handles don't stay in place when you're squeezing your lemons/limes. We ordered blue, our favorite color, but we ended up removing them. Works great without, so it's ok in the long run. ... show more

The good: I was blown away by how easy it was to squeeze citrus!! So easy! Doesn't take a lot of strength to get the juice The not-so-good: It doesn't squeeze ALL the juice out. There's a gap between the sides of the squeezers so it can't squeeze all the way down to the rind, particularly on thin-skinned fruit like the limes in my photos.
