    • Don't know why I waited so long to get one of these!
Picked this up on Prime Day and have used it about a dozen times! What a great tool to have in the kitchen! I would hate using fresh limes or lemons because of the work involved with getting them squeezed using the old fashioned reamer style juicer. We'd use the bottled stuff, which isn't all that horrible but once you've used fresh it's hard to justify using the bottled ever again. But the work and time involved to get a tablespoon of juice out just wasn't worth it. Enter this type of tool - wow. So easy! The item seems well constructed and has survived through the dishwasher unmarked or stained. The leverage needed to squeeze a pretty hard lime isn't anywhere near what you think it would be and the amount of juice extracted is pretty much all that is available in the fruit! I tried to get more out of them using the reamer and couldn't manage a single drop. A hard squeeze with the hands the old fashioned way also didn't yield any additional juice. Pro Tip on selecting limes - limes with smooth skin vs the bumpy skin will yield the most juice. Washing it is easy enough by hand but as I mentioned it has made it through the dishwasher without incident. I am certain that anything you put in there has its lifespan shortened due to the harsh nature of the soaps and heat of the machine but so far so good. There's no maintenance needed other than washing so keep it clean and it will serve you for years. The heft is pretty good considering its size and it doesn't feel flimsy when apply pressure to squeeze the limes/lemons. It's big enough to handle the largest of the lemons I have seen and will even handle smaller oranges and tangerines. Overall very happy with this purchase.     • So much easier than squeezing lemons
I have to admit I had no idea these existed. For years, I’ve been using the kind of juicer where you cut the lemon in half, then you place is on a cone shaped plastic piece that then drains the juice into a glass jar. It’s a lot of work, and then you have to fish out the seeds. This heavy duty juicer is so much easier and you can easily drain the seeds. It’s so cheap too! I will be making lemonade a lot more often, this juicer is fun to use and takes so little effort. I’m excited (it’s apparently the little things that make me happy). ... show more

One of the biggest problems with a lemon/lime squeezer is that if you buy a “color” the finish is distorted in short order by the acids in the fruit. This SS finish is great! Very durable tool.

I kept debating on which lemon squeezer I wanted and ended up purchasing this one. Glad I did! I feels like good quality and looks great not cheap and is easy to squeeze the lemons.

I love this thing. I squeezed 80 lemons for a lemonade stand with no problems. Yes, my hands were tired but it was a lot of lemons ;) It does as good a job at juicing a lemon as a glass juicer, but it's faster to use and easier to clean. the only downside is that you need to have decent / average adult hand strength.
