Processed 3/4 gallon of Roma tomato sauce this AM. I started with the medium insert and switched to the large hole insert. Came out slightly chunky (I like it that way), some seeds but not bad. Took about 15 minutes after blanching to process. I raise Romas for sauce because they have very few seeds. Remnants were mostly skins - some flesh but minimal. Works great and saved me a lot of time. Easy cleanup as well. I recommend this product for tomato sauce. I imagine it will work great for a number of veggies but I cannot speak to that yet. Used it to make tomato juice from fresh tomatoes. Juice was free from seeds and peelings.very similar to the old one my mom used.Looking forward to trying other recipes with it.easy to assemble, clean and to stabilize over a bowl or pot.

I do a lot of canning of tomatoes and this really does a good job of getting all of the pulp out. At first I didn't think it was going to work but when I put the skins thru again there wasn't anymore pulp to come out.

This is pretty much useless as a food mill. I doesn't adequately mill food. The space between the disks and the grinding plate is too great. I tried making applesauce and a substantial amount of apple was left on the skins. It also performed poorly on tomatoes. I would NOT recommend.
