Only "drawback" is that they are a tiny bit on the shorter side - nothing egregious, and certainly nothing that stops them from being fully functional. I'm so glad I chose this set. It's much better quality than the one I was going to purchase. The wood has weight to it, it's thicker than most, and smoothly polished. I like that the wood is finished and the handle shape is curved and very comfortable. I have arthritis and find a lot of utensils uncomfortable to hold and use. These are not only practical, but pretty as well. They look great and I can't wait to use them. These would make a nice gift too, I like that I got a much better quality product while supporting a nice family small business. I was also impressed that they offer a lifetime warranty too. I would recommend to anyone and would purchase again in the future.
