The media could not be loaded. I knocked off a star for 3 reasons. 1) the mattress is supported by these thin wooden slats that slide into a plastic sleeve & I worry how long it'll hold up. (They give you a few extra plastic sleeves in case). The bed claims to hold 600 lbs. My husband and I together are over 400 lbs. My mattress is 100 lbs. (But we know mattresses gain weight over time with sweat, dead skin & dust mites etc). I worry when my 2 kids wanna sit with us. 2) The directions are POORLY written. NO words, just pictures, (so poorly drawn). 3) one of the metal bars didn't have a hole drilled all the way through.. so the screw would not fit, (pic included). My husband remedied that with a drill bit.. but still. Points deducted. I was so hesitant to get this bed.. cuz I want sturdiness and longevity in a bedframe... but we decided it was wicked cool and POSSIBLY sacrificed quality for aesthetics...time will tell. It's been a month and so far so good. The lights are so awesome and calming...can be changed to any color with the remote. ALSO, the leg boards are hidden inside the back of the headboard. You need to unfold the velcro faux leather flap, and you'll see 3 leg boards inside. The instructions ARE NOT CLEAR! and it took us a contact to customer service to figure out where the leg boards were... I thought they were missing. Lastly, one of the wooden slats (that hold the mattress) was cracked completely in half.. customer service replaced an ENTIRE STACK of 12 wooden slats! Big plus! As everybody says, the manual on setup is not perfect, it is still a little difficult do put together, mostly because the manual is not clear, but it didn't take that long to figure out by the pieces sizes. Overall it is a great product, functional, and beautiful.

I needed a new California King bedframe, and I loved this style. Shipping was straight forward, FedEx contacted me to confirm delivery. It took about a week to arrive. Received in two boxes; one fairly large, the other medium. One thing I must point out, don't get frustrated assembling this. Take your time. Medium screws for the outer frame (screwing horizontal), longer screws for vertical screwing. Pay attention to the instructions, they are not detailed, but a misstep can cost you HOURS in setup. Note: The frame is a bit tight for my Cal King, but I added additional wood support under the mattress (my mattress sits slightly higher). ... show more

Directions are very bad. There are no words, only a few pictures, However the seller is quick to respond to help you out when you have questions. Overall I am very happy with the bed I put it together by myself. I put a 12” mattress on it and it’s great.

    • Watch where your LED connectors are BEFORE tightening screws :)
The media could not be loaded. The directions were a little hard to follow but I know the company has said that they are working on making better directions. I put it together myself in about an hour and a half. It was a little difficult to get the screws and the brackets to line up between the headboard and the side boards, but I eventually got it. Bed feels very sturdy. One pro tip I have is to make sure that the connectors for the LED lights are hanging out before you tighten the screws on the side rails. One of the connectors got stuck between the side rail in the headboard and I had to take apart almost the entire side of the bed in order to get it out of there. But the LED lights work, I have a 15 inch mattress and it fits beautifully, and it looks very stylish. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on it. Shipping was a little bit of an issue as it was not shipped out until after the delivery due date, however the company was great and very responsive and refunded my shipping fee. The bed came three days later. If you are looking for some thing stylish and sturdy, I would definitely recommend! ... show more

    • Friggin AMAZING!
Beautiful! Got my bed super early. Very friendly delivery personnel. Their customer service was very good and extremely pleasant. Assembly took one hour. Instructions are not very good but, good common sense got us through. The light strip on one side was off and drooping. This morning, the lights on other side dropped to floor. Easy fix, since I work with those lights all the time. As far as mattress, 12 inches is pushing it. Getting a 10 inch on Tuesday. As to the functions on remote, 2 of them seem to work with only one color(white) which is strobe setting. Other function only displays red, green, blue and white. Red is the most amazing color of them all. Still, it is AMAZING the class and pizazz it adds. And finally, as to the headboard, WOW! Just wow, how comfortable it is to watch tv in bed sitting or semi- supine position! My wife found bed by accident, looking for dresser. We are glad for the happy accident since it's gone up in price one week after we ordered. Even so, it is very much worth the money, at any price. ... show more
