This is the third string of these I’ve bought, they are great for camping because the bulbs are not easily broken like the glass ones. We just bundle them up and toss them in the camper for next time. The first set is at least 5 years old and still works perfectly. I ended up purchasing 400ft total of these lights for my back yard. Paired them all on a single “TREATLIFE Smart Dimmer Plug Outdoor Smart Plug Works with Alexa and Google Home, Light Dimmer APP Remote Control, Max Power 400W” Works like a charm and pleasantly surprised. I have a very large backyard so it was just enough light to keep the “comfy” mood going. The light bulbs are pretty durable and despite the wire connecting each bulb a little on the thinner side, the fact it’s rated ip65 I have faith in it. I just hope it lasts for a long time cuz it’s a pain to hang anything across a long span. ... show more

Great price for the overall length of strand. Quality is good. Can’t effectively dim them. It ether full on or almost off. No intermediate dimming. Tried three different brands if dimmers with no success yet. Maybe someone can recommend one.

We bought this set of string lights for an installation around the top perimter of our screen porch. The measurements that were stated in the description were a bit off. It is a total of 50 feet, but the actual measurements are as follows: From plug to first light socket: 45" Light spacing: 23" From last light socket to connecting plug: 8.5" The lights look great and emit a warm colored glow. The top of each socket has a mounting hole which made it easy to mount them with small nails. The bulbs are plastic so there no worries of broken glass and they stay very cool. We have not tried a dimmer yet but will update our review if they end up flickering from the dimmer. ... show more
