  • Not just quiet and cool, the coolest and quietest.
Style: AMP Edition Size: Boost Clock: 1830 MHz
The media could not be loaded. As the reviews online stated, and I verified myself after using it. Is really is super cool and quiet. As of this review it is ranked the best for thermals and overclocking of all release day 2080 cards. You can check youtube for more info on that. As for me using it, I am able to run 3dmark bench mark, with automatic OC enabled and a 600mhz memory boost, and the card set to 60% fan speed, without thermal throttling. -- That is kind of unheard of, and definitely not something the 1080 ti, which is a direct competitor to this card could do, and not something most partner cards could do. It the longest 2080 RTX, It is about 1.2 inches longer than the competition. However I was able to make it fit in my spec-6 corsair case even with a front h150i radiator installed. If it will fit in my case, which is in the bottom 10% of size for ATX cases it will fit in any ATX case. I was a bit turned off by the price, compared to EVGA MSI GIGAbyte cards. It is a full $10 more than the next most expensive, and $30 more than the average price. But you get what you pay for, the cooler on this card is not only the most effective, but also the most quiet. The included video shows the sound coming off my system. The Fans are spinning at 30% on the maximum performance plan at idle. I am dropping a plastic zip tie and rolled up piece of paper towel. The reason I did that is phones amplify sound, I wanted to show how truly quiet the card is in a system at idle on the maximum performance power plan, with fans spinning at 30%. You can literally hear a piece of paper towel hit the ground, and a light weight piece of plastic. It isn't completely silent, but most peoples refrigerators make more sound, and they never even notice. ... show more

  • Great value for an RTX 2080
Had this card for a couple of days now, and it's great. temperatures are alright (76-77 degrees C under load). I see no need for the fancy $800 RTX 2080s when this exists, but you might see a value for one of those. Gaming performance is what you'd expect from a 2080. I'm using it with a 1080p144Hz monitor and it runs all the games i threw at it at or above 100FPS maxed out. phenomenal performance, big upgrade over my previous GTX 1060. Not much RGB on it, just an illuminated Zotac Gaming logo. PROS: + Great value for a 2080, got it for $680 + Good temperatures, always below 80 degrees. Never seen it higher than 77 degrees. + Performance is what you'd expect from a 2080 + nice gains from overclocking neutral: - no fancy RGB (this may be a pro for some, con for some) - Ray Tracing features are barely used in games, but that may change in the future. I fear nvidia's Ray Tracing technology will go the way of the dodo, like PhysX. Cons: - gets a bit audible under load - no out-of-the-box overclock overall, it's a phenomenal card. love it! ... show more

  • Solid 60+ fps in 4k. Keep your 1080 Ti but otherwise worth the upgrade.
Style: AMP Edition Size: Boost Clock: 1830 MHz
Note: Prices on cards will be going up and down as tariffs are affecting companies temporarily. I received my card 9/27 and haven't done too much testing / playing but so far it is very stable and a strong performer. It didn't come with a CD as the instructions claimed, however, the card booted first try and appeared to install it's own first set of drivers. I honestly immediately upgraded to the new 411.7 Driver released 9/27 4K Time spy score of 11,197 for graphics score with 72.12 fps on test 1 and 64.87 on test 2. This is with no OC just base card. During this test gpu temps never broke 59c. This is a very quiet and cool card. Running 4k Warframe for an hour had the card sitting around 64c. I will be running Crysis on ultra and reporting back. At this point I am very happy with my purchase after upgrading from an older R7 . At time of purchase a new 1080 Ti and the Preorder for the 2080 were the same price. Other reviewers have shown that the NVlink (or sli) for these are almost true doubling scale. That means two cards will essential double the fps. Where as the 1080 Ti saw a x1.5ish gain ... show more

  • If bad luck had a name
Style: AMP Edition Size: Boost Clock: 1830 MHz
The card out of the box is just, AMAZING! after a few updates from amd to Nvidia ( i have no issues with either) it has been tested in over 200 games from me to make sure its working properly. What can i say this thing just demolishes anything, For honor, BFV, Giant games like Arma, DayZ and more! Update: well I sure look stupid. But as of now the card is unstable, multiple crashes driver issues the card is great but crashing every game I love after 10 minutes of play. Sucks. For right now I'd stay away until newer drivers come out. Real bummer. RMA request has been sent. Update: The card has been RMA, Ive been told by countless companies to No longer buy zotac cards, because of software and hardware issues, Unfortunately I will be re selling the RMA once returned. UPDATE: I have gotten the new card after 3 weeks of rma process and it is also broken. Not working correctly like the last. I will never buy another zotac product. I'd suggest you stay away from this card it's no good. ... show more

  • No need to upgrade yet
I bought this card for my new build, but I could've just as easily used my 1070 since this GPU is not a giant leap forward in tech as past gens have been. The Ray-trace feature is beautiful on the two or three games that support it, and you can tell it will be the goto tech in the future; but, it's just not worth the price in my opinion. That said, this card scores pretty well and I had zero issues installing and setting it up with the driver. I also got it with a small discount on Prime day, so that helps... a small bit. My advice is to wait for better prices/tech or keep what you have until you see the perfect card. If you buy this one, you won't be disappointed, but may not feel the gleeful joy usually felt when you upgrade your GPU significantly. ... show more
