This was mounted on my atv and it performed well on it's first use today! I do have an issue that should be addressed. The winch came with four cables of different colors. The instructions in the booklet that came with the winch only show two colors red and black. I had to do a search online to find out where the four colored wires go. Took about a half hour and like I said, works great!

One of the positives was the packaging—it was excellent, ensuring that the product arrived well-protected and without any damage. This was reassuring, as shipping heavy equipment can often result in bumps and scrapes. However, there were a few areas where the product could be improved: 1. **Mounting Plate**: The winch plate was small enough to fit my SUV, which is great, but it lacked sufficient pre-drilled holes for easy installation. This made aligning it with the car mount more challenging than necessary. 2. **Protection Sleeve**: The winch did not come with a protection sleeve near the hook, an omission that I found disappointing as it can help prevent wear and tear on the cable. 3. **Instructions**: The instructions provided were not as clear or detailed as they could be, making the installation process more complicated, especially for those who may be handling such equipment for the first time. Overall a good value with lots of power and 2 remotes. However my mechanic had to modify the wiring on my 2024 Polaris Sportsman 450 HO, as it came from the mfg. the winch would have been on or Hot all the time, obviously not good as the battery would be dead in no time. He was able to wire it so that the key will turn the winch off for another $65. Still a good value but you need to be aware that this could be an issue.

Installed with no problem on my little jeep tj. I had to downsize to a small one due to grill guard but happy as I don’t off-road too much. Wireless remote worked as well as wired no issue. I suggest wiring in a winch quick disconnect to disconnect while not in use to minimize as power draw issues that could happen randomly. As well as a winch cover to keep the synthetic cable from sun. Happy so far and will update if any issues.
