I'm using this with the Zoom H4n that I purchased as part of a package. The mic greatly improves the sound quality of the Zoom and filters out much of the background noise. In a properly soundproofed area, it does its part to produce broadcast-quality sound. Note that it doesn't have a bungee-type mount to reduce sounds coming from touching the base during recording, but I tend to record scripts so it is not an issue for me. The headphones are a little light but not inappropriate for this price range. The cord connecting the mic to the Zoom seems heavy and of decent quality. Note: I'm not an audiophile, but this seems like good quality equipment for the price. ... show more

I got 2 of these in a package deal with a podcast board. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more. They have a great sound on both the mic and headset. Only draw back is the advertised diameter of the housing. I don’t like the stands and got suspension mic holders. They barely fit in standard size suspension rigs. I also recommend a weighted base to make them less likely to tip over. ... show more
