The media could not be loaded. Ok y’all... let me start this by stating that my machine is over 20 years old and has never been serviced. I have used it quite a bit for a novice, but in spurts. Sometimes many many months go by without being used. But sometimes I use it constantly. Having said all that... I was making pillowcases for my daughters LAST & FINAL college apt (lol). I was not pleased with this product. When I got the package out of my mailbox, the package was covered in oil. I assume the cap fell off during shipping and the bottle then leaked all over. I had to wash off the bottle (and my counter tops) with Dawn to clean up the spilled oil. I also had to use pliers to eventually pull the extendable nozzle out because it was jammed in place and without the cap on it is not really possible to extend the nozzle. Even after the initial mess, when I then pull out the nozzle and remove the cap the pressure differential pushes oil out before any pressure is applied to the bottle, resulting in more clean up. I'm nervous to use this on my 3D printer, as I don't want oil all over my desk. The distributor should have applied some sort of plactic shrink wrap in order to keep the cap from falling off and the product from leaking. ... show more

When you receive this product it will seem to only have a hard 2 inch spout, BUT DO NOT despair! Just like the picture......the spout contains another 7 inch EXTENDABLE and bendable, internal spout!!! Making this product super awesome for reaching those hard to reach spots in your sewing machine!!! It has a great lightweight, water white sewing machine oil (a premium, mineral oil based, and non-staining oil for sewing machines, knitting, and, needles). It doesn't have a scent, odor and is completely colorless (clear). Is is actually very easy to control and not messy at all. ... show more

    • You must hold the plug in place.
It seems to work just fine. However, the plug is terrible. When it arrived, the external, Amazon box was soaked through with oil and the bag containing the bottle was coated with oil inside and out. I tried countless times to make the plug stay on, but it pops right back off. I have plastic bag bits and rubber bands holding the plug in place and I keep the bottle stored upright. ... show more

I got this machine oil to use on my 1937 Featherweight machine. This is perfect for getting in all the small spaces on these older machines that need to be oiled regularly. Note, this is not to be used to for the motor. That requires sewing machine motor grease which is a different product. This oil is for all the small moving parts and not for newer plastic/synthetic machines. ... show more

I just wanted sewing machine oil, but the price on this item was best, and the special tube intrigued me. It works really well, but in an unusual way! You hold the bottle upright, and aim the flexible spout to whatever small area you want to oil, and when you squeeze the bottle, voila! It's a clever bottle construction, and works more precisely than the 'eyedropper' type bottles, which have to be held upside down to dispense the oil.     • Great, pure, 100% clear sewing machine oil - not just for sewing machines, many uses.
They call it "sewing machine oil", but in reality consider this 100% pure, clean high quality oil that can be used in any application that you would use 3 in 1 oil, or other applications. For instance, the other day I used this to oil / lubricate the spindles / bearings on my turntable. This is perfect for that application. Then, the lifter bar spring on one of my turntables was sticking, and this did the trick, making it smooth again. Then, the piston rod on an electronic auto lifter was sticking and not retracting - one drop of this did the trick! Great stuff, I like the fact it is pure and 100% clear. Non staining excellent sewing machine oil and has a lot of other uses in the home or garage. I love it on my sewing machine because it does the job of a lubricant/cleaner on the household machine in the photo. Plus you lightly rub it on and off it cleans and protects metals and paint.
