I've been using a NexiGo N660 and found it to be a high quality basic webcam at a very reasonable price. This N950P has many more features, albeit at a significant cost increase. Setup on Windows is plug and play. USB A and C connector cables are both provided. Set Windows privacy settings to recognize the camera and microphone and you're ready to go. The video was sharp and vivid right out of the box. The included remote allows for brightness adjustment and backlight compensation, but for those who like to tinker the downloadable software allows one to tweak other visual attributes; contrast, hue, etc. The remote also allows you to zoom, pan and tilt the image, but the zoom and therefore the pan and tilt functions only work at 1020p resolution and below. It should be noted that the pan and tilt functions don't actually pan or tilt the camera, they allow you to pan and tilt the zoomed image to areas that would be visible in the non zoomed image. With fresh batteries the remote worked fine at more than 20 feet from the camera, and you can save two remote settings. I was a bit disappointed to find that the frame rate is limited to 30 fps at all resolutions. That should be adequate for most purposes but if you need or want 60 fps you'll have to look elsewhere. Bottom line, if you need or want the the bells and whistles this webcam provides and are willing to pay the price premium then the N950P deserves a closer look. ... show more

I bought the NexiGo N940P Webcam and it's pretty good for my video calls and when I'm streaming. It gives clear video that looks nice and has a zoom feature you can use with a remote. Setting it up was easy, and it worked with my computer right away. It also has a privacy cover, which is nice for when you want to make sure the camera is really off. The sound is okay too, because of the built-in microphone. It's not amazing quality sound, but it's clear enough for talking to people and doing streams. The only small issue is that the camera can be slow to focus if I move a lot, but it doesn't bother me too much. Overall, the NexiGo N940P is a good webcam if you want to improve your video quality without spending a lot of money. I think it's a good buy. ... show more

The webcam has great picture quality and works great. Mounts easily, connects automatically and is easy to use. The mic on the device has been subpar. Whenever I use it on work meetings, my colleagues have mentioned I sound very different and weird. And I met up with my colleagues in person and they say I sound way different. Good value for the money still but I would not buy. Now I'm looking at buying a separate mic just so my voice sounds less weird. ... show more

I had a camera that, in my opinion, was working, but it couldn't connect to TEAMS in spite of granular settings examinations. I decided to buy this camera to see if it is a camera problem or TEAMS problem. I LOVE this camera. I have not tested it against TEAMS (they don't have a process through which I can test my camera without being signed into a meeting) but . . .. . . . .I don't care about that now, because having set it up and witnessed the quality, it is soooooooo much better than my other camera. It is clear and sharp, no weird glares, etc. and the free software that I downloaded from their site allows me to edit contrast, brightness, gamma, FOV. . . .etc. that I couldn't adjust on my other camera. It makes a huge difference to fine-tune those depending on the room environment and lighting. So I will keep the camera whether it speaks to TEAMS or not!
