After cataract surgery in my right eye, I needed +2.25 reading glasses for that eye and +0.00 strength for my left eye. I ordered 2 sets of these glasses. First set with +2.25 strength lenses, second set with +0.00 lenses. Applying pressure at the top of a lens, I was able to get the lens to snap out. Similarly, I was easily able to get a lens to snap into the frame. Several YouTube videos show how. After this, the lenses still fit very securely in the frame. Now I have 6 pairs of quality reading glasses, each with +0.00 strength for the left eye and +2.25 for my right eye. That's just what I needed! These are quality glasses at a "best value" price. They are a bargain, look very nice, fit very well, appear durable and are comparable to much more expensive glasses bought in an eyeglass store. ... show more

I have poor vision and need reading glasses or I can't read at all. These work fine! In terms of function, I can tell no difference between these and expensive reading glasses. I presume but am not sure that these don't last as long as an expensive pair would but am not sure about that as it's been a long time since I bought expensive ones from the eye doc. I can't seem to hang onto a pair of reading glasses, so I won't buy expensive ones anymore because I lose them, or can't find where I put them, or break them. I buy cheap ones so I can have them in all rooms of the house and outside and plenty of spares for when I break, or can't find the glasses! These are comfortable and I have no problem reading even fine print with them. They suit me just fine and with my poor close up vision, if they work for me, they should work for almost anyone.
