I love these zojirushi insulated bottles, but wasn't sure if these ones on Amazon were the real thing or not. I've always ordered directly from the website in the past and they do have free shipping, which is nice. But the price on this was so much better that I decided to try it. It came in the exact same packaging as the ones directly from the maker, and seems to be of the same high quality. It is a nice size, keeps my drink cold or hot and I've dropped it so many times, but no hard besides a few scratches. One thing is if you're going to use it for coffee, that's all you can use it for. I use it for water mostly, but my husband put coffee in mine and I could get the smell out of the one small rubber ring. Everything else cleaned up odor free. This is the only leak proof thermos I have ever found. And these can fit in your car and be used as a coffee cup as well. They come in different sizes and colors for his and hers. I had one for quite a few years, and my husband ran off with it because his thermos broke. So, I bought myself another one in a different color. Neither has any leaks!!! I've been using this for over a month and am very pleased with it. It's easy to wash, though if you use a thicker lip product, the residue may get onto the inside of the lid in a hard to reach spot. My old zojirushi thermos was always leaking coffee on me, but it was several decades old (and the temperature preservation was good still), so I purchased this for the leak proof factor and it's been amazing. I carry multiple water bottles so I needed this smaller thermos to be able to sit in a bag and be thrown around without spilling coffee everywhere. It keeps your drinks comfortably hot for a really long time. When I pour my coffee in there I keep the lid off for about half an hour so it cools to a temperature that won't burn my mouth. Tip: the lid + plastic drinking part is easiest to put back on the bottle when the flip top cap is open, because it will naturally let the plastic drinking part align without jamming the lid's fit on the bottle. It took me a few days to notice that and now I have no issues with refilling the thermos while I'm at work. Highly recommend the product. ... show more

There is a reason why this is a top-rated travel mug. Holds a good amount of coffee and keeps it hot for a very long time -- I have not yet gotten to the point of cold coffee, it's always gone before it cools off even if I'm coming back to it much later in the morning. Easy to use one handed, locks securely and I haven't had any leakage. A little fussy to fully disassemble for cleaning, but it's worth it. I was skeptical that it can be spillproof but it is true. It works really good, the size is perfect for computer backpacks, cupholders, and for sipping while driving. One review that says the cap broke but I think they may have been very rough with it. Product seems very solid, looks very classy (especially in blue). I read an article about how we should clean our water bottles often to keep slimy bacteria from growing in them. Well it does take a minute to clean these out because there's like 5 individual parts to it to clean, including the bottle itself. Overall, the design is elegant. This thermos keeps my coffee warm all day. If I forget about it I can still drink my coffee in the afternoon because it's still warm enough. The lid comes apart easy enough to clean all the pieces.
