Although this is a minimalists amp, other (fully clothed) amps with the same TPA3116D2 chip are 2 or 3 times this price. I bought the Rockville RockShelf Bookshelf Speakers 68B V2's and thought I would try driving those 6.5" bad-boys with this amp. I am amazed. I'm rockin Van Halen to the limits of my old ears and this little amp isn't even warm. HiFi has come a long way since I was a kid. This amp shipped 3 days early. I assembled the included parts in less than 5 mins. One of the images in the product description was helpful during assembly. I've been running this amp daily for two weeks with no issues. Bluetooth works great. Great sound and no noise. Great buy! However, keep in mind that this amp does not come with a power adapter which may cost an additional 20-30 bucks. Once you realize you've spent 40 or 50 bucks, you'll reconsider the "fully clothed" Fosi Audio BT10A for 50 bucks which has the same basic features, same audio chip, Bluetooth, etc., but with better speaker connections, a power adapter, a Bluetooth antenna and no assembly required. I'm no audiophile and I doubt I could hear a difference in sound quality, but the Fosi appears to be a more efficient way to spend 50 bucks. ... show more

Economical, easy-to-use amplifer for good sound

I bought this so that I could set up some speakers in my workshop/garage and play some music from my phone. Product arrived well-packaged and in good condition. Requires about 5 minutes of twiddling a few screws and mounting a heat sink. Buyers should note that they will need to obtain a separate power supply, as the seller's documentation makes completely clear. I had a junk-box 12V 2A power supply, so I expected that the amplifier would deliver 12x2 = 24 watts of power. Your mileage will vary. Bluetooth connection was straighforward. The amplifier was easily able to drive a couple old speakers from a system I had back when the world was young. Sound quality was fine to me (I am not an audiophile). Seller does mention that using a power supply that is too weak can result in sound degradation. I heard nothing that made me regret my purchase. Overall, I am happy with what I bought. ... show more

For the price this thing is pretty awesome. Sounds is decent and functionality is easy. Was fairly easy to put together despite instructions in extremely fine print. Only withholding one more star because I wish it came with a matching 110V power cord matched to it. Had to order separately. Also, at higher volumes sound cuts out briefly - maybe I needed a better power cord/supply? Paired to my iphone 14 and powering a pair of old Bose 401's. Am overall very happy with it. This little Bluetooth amp is awesome for a quick DIY audio project. It's super easy to set up and the sound quality is surprisingly good for the price. The Bluetooth 5.0 connection is solid and doesn't drop, and the separate treble and bass knobs let you dial in the sound you want. I need something very small for my desk that could put out at least 20 watts. This fit the bill perfectly! I mounted it under the shelf to keep it even more out of the way. Be advised, it did require a little assembly. You have to mount the heat sink, the top and bottom covers and knobs but they send a screwdriver. How handy. It connects to Bluetooth as a priority, then to the 1/8 input jack. So, if you want to use the jack, make sure you're not connected to Bluetooth. ... show more

Worked as described. Nice little power amp for outdoor RV speakers. Didn't have any problems installing or connecting. Good range for the Bluetooth. However as others have mentioned the app is kinda sketchy.
