Our dog just adores this burrowing toy. It has become her favorite. The concept is great, but that being said, there could be some improvements made to it. The cloth which wraps the log is not very durable and our dog keeps making holes in it, which I continue to sew. The darker-colored end pieces of material are stronger and should be considered to be used all over the log. Secondly, the log comes with three plush toys. Our dog would get the three plush toys out in seconds, so I stuffed the log with a bunch of additional toys we already had. Got these unicorns to replace the squirrels and they are seriously adorable! My pup is obsessed with them. The squeaker has the right squeak sound he loves and he gets all excited the second he hears it. They are tiny, which he loves. My dog originally received this in a Pupbox subscription, and went crazy for the ladybugs, carrying them all over the house. He was a puppy then, eventually left with only one, and the leaf was torn apart. He is a small dog, but a chewer. I saw this and ordered it for him (now over a year old). He was very excited! I did end up cutting off the string antennae of the ladybugs as I knew he would pull them off and I did not want him to swallow them. Also, he gets his little snout inside the holes in the leaf and chews on the unfinished seam which contains foam, so I took it away from him this time. I'm just too afraid that he will do more damage and pull off bigger pieces and swallow the foam, etc. But he still loves the ladybugs. I have seen similar toys at Home Goods. ... show more

My Isabelle loves loves these toys. The monkeys have joined our aliens and spaceship, carrot and bunnies and tree trunk and chipmunks and we probably won’t stop. I will say that my pup is not a destructive chewer so these should last her a while but they are not made for pups that are aggressive chewers - they won’t survive.
