This is the most perfect little piano for babies. I got it for my 6mo and though she can’t play full songs on it obviously, she’s already getting exposure to music and instruments in a way that is realistic and not overstimulating for me or her. I even brought it to the country I’m living in in a suitcase and it’s still in perfect condition. The assembly is very simple and the sound is very accurate to that of a real piano. I cannot get over the sound quality from this piano... it is exactly the same as a "real" piano, and my godson gravitated to it immediately. He's soon to be 3, and loves music, so I was thrilled when he sat down and started "playing" and having fun. He has never gone back to play with any of the toy electronic keyboards... he must find the sound to be as pleasant as adults do. You will not be bothered ever by this being played. Bought this for my preschooler to learn music on, and the reviews did not exaggerate how great this piano is for a child's toy. The sound quality is quite good, and the keys have weight so you really feel like you're pressing down. There's no volume control, but it isn't too loud. I wish I could plug it in to an outlet in addition to the battery-operated feature, but that's my only critique. The color is lovely. There's no twang. Even the black keys work. Our 10 month old loves playing this piano. It’s sturdy enough for him to pull up on and it’s got a good sound. He will go bang on it whenever we play our big piano. This is a very nice toy piano/electronic keyboard. It comes with a songbook and key note stickers. There is a little assembly required, but it’s very easy. I highly recommend.
