Great value, fits my full sized futon perfectly. There is a zipper closure in the middle on the back of the material which made fitting the futon a bit of a challenge ( previous covers opened at the end) but once in, it works well. Backing has a non skid material which is a plus.

At first I was very happy with the quality of this mattress cover. The thickness of the top fabric was really comfortable and the look of the cute whale design was appealing. However after less than 3 weeks use, I realized the fabric was composed of something like nylon in women’s stalkings. Any little thing was snagging the fabric and causing it to run. When I first bought this and attempted to put it on my Japanese futon, I noticed that the zipper was very low quality and made for the fingers of a dwarf. I had a gut feeling that this tiny zipper would cause me severe headaches down the road. The very next wash, I was attempting to zip the cover around my futon mattress and the garbage zipper got stuck on itself. Now I can't take it off without destroying the zipper. Now I have to buy a new mattress cover. What a waste of time and cash! **UPDATE** The vendor reimbursed me for the product and apologized for the broken zipper. Thus, the vendor has done its part to provide quality customer service. Thus, I will move the review from its original 1 star rating to 2 stars. I hope the vendor will make a sturdier zipper in the future. ... show more
