This snorkel mask performs exactly as promised. I am an older person, but the Medium/Small mask fits my face perfectly. My first use was swimming laps in one of the six marked lanes of a 25-meter Olympic-sized swimming pool. This was among my most comfortable swims. The ZIPOUTE Snorkel Mask provided a clear fog-free panoramic view of almost the entire 6-lane 82-foot very large pool. It is much more comfortable than wearing swim goggles, chewing on the mouthpiece of an attached snorkel, and wearing a tight nose clip. There were no issues at all, except that as a senior gentleman I was not getting enough fresh air until I contacted the excellent seller, and received detailed instructions, with two photos, which I have attached that show exactly how to remove the silicon disc at the top inside of the mask which connects to the snorkel tube. The excellent instruction booklet which came with the mask mentioned removing this object to get more fresh air, but without detailed instructions. Once I removed the tiny disc, I was able to breathe much better, and had a flawless fast 3-lap swim of 150-meters or 492-feet. I spoke with the lifeguards before and after my swim. They had never seen this model of snorkel mask and were surprised with the bubbles that would rise to the surface during my swim, making it easy for them to track my well-being. Some other swimmers used the older snorkels that fit in their mouths and would breathe in and exhale through their mouth pieces and tubes. The design of this product is very original and unique, as CO2 is expelled through the bottom of the mask which is below the water. I can hardly wait to wear the mask in a more natural environment, such as a lake or ocean, as the fog-free view of sea life would be so beautiful. This product is suitable for both children and adults. For men, I do recommend being clean shaven, and for women to keep their hair pulled back or inside a silicon swim cap so that the mask's silicon seal touches only facial skin from below one's chin to their foreheads to provide a tight seal. I can highly recommend this product, and also want to state that I have not been compensated in any way for writing this review which entirely contains my own opinions. I hope this has been helpful. I bought an adult and a child size and they worked great. The adult size fit well for a medium adult male and the child fit well on my teenage son. No water got in and it was super clear. I really liked having the full view verse a "goggle" type view. The only thing I found took getting use to was that diving down more than a few feet took getting use to since the amount of air or something in the mask made it slightly difficult to stay under water. You just have to keep swimming and fighting to stay down, but it is worth it. Otherwise, floating on or near the surface was very cool using it. I recommend these. ... show more

I bought this mask because I just hated having a breathing tube in my mouth and my goggles always fogged up. I did alot of research and found information about good features to have on a full face snorkeling mask. Although there are concerns about CO2 buildup in a full face mask, this mask seemed to have alot of the same features as the masks that were tested for CO2 safety. Namely, the separate air channels for inhale and exhale. The exhaled air is vented thru a separate channel on the sides of the mask creating a short path to eliminate exhaled air and easier to breath and lesschance of breathing old air. The snorkel tube is dedicated to inhale breathing and reduces breathing resistance, increases rapid fresh air exchange, and reduces fog up. Another big concern with full face mask is getting a correct fit for CO2 buildup safety and leaking or flooding problems. So make sure you get the right size and test it. This mask is also thin, has a small internal air volume which facilitates fresh air exchange and foldable which is great for packing in your travel bags. Next feature is that this mask has a flat face for clear (not warped) unobstructed view. Plus, it has an anti fog coating that works! Love it. I use this mask for casual snorkeling which it is designed for. Full face snorkeling masks are not exercise or for diving. Its easy peasy to use for beginners. I did dive a short distance with this mask just to see what it was like and what happens is that the mask sucks onto your face and breathing essentially stops since the snorkeling tube stops water from coming in which means no air. The mask has a low internal air volume. You get the picture. I also found that if you frown, the mask breaks it seal and will leak a tiny bit. I do love the drain at the bottom of the mask in case you get some water in your mask. I can see that the UV coating will help with alot of reflection that come with water and it does color your outside world but underwater it fades away since there is less light. I've been using a traditional mask and snorkel for the last 45 years or so and I have never had a more comfortable fitting mask than this one. The first time I put it on and tested it in my pool, I swam for about 45 minutes without ever taking the mask off and it never leaked and it never fogged up. What a game-changer! One issue I had at first was that I noticed the mask was only exhaling out of the right side, so I carefully moved the two little suction cup stoppers on the left side to break them free from the plastic frame and then I was able to exhale much more easily out of both sides of the mask. There's also an exhale area near the chin which is probably useful for purging any water that may enter the mask, but like I said, I didn't have any trouble with water coming in. My measurement from the top of nose to chin is about 4-3/4", so I chose the Large size and it's a very good fit. I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone interested in snorkeling. And with the UV protection on the outside of the glass, it makes this mask look super cool. The view from inside the mask is extremely clear and it doesn't appear to be discolored at all. If you're interested in a new mask and snorkel, treat yo' self and get one of these. You won't regret it. ... show more
