My son has sensory issues with his eyes. Because he was a toddler during the covid shutdowns, we didn't get the chance to have him in swim lessons to teach him how to overcome his issues underwater. When he gets splashed in the face, he screams. We reduced it to being upset and needing a towel, but still he would not put his face under to blow bubbles, or even get his hair wet. I bought this for my 5-year old because handling a regular snorkel was not going well and I wanted to give this a shot. He absolutely loves it! And then when he wasn’t using it, all his cousins, including a 15-year old, asked to borrow it, and had a blast snorkeling around looking at fish. It seals really well, doesn’t fog up, and is a great shape for utilizing the snorkel portion well. Got this for summer camp pool time and it is a huge hit. My "scared to put my face in the water" kid really enjoys the freedom this brings and it has slowly transitioned him to feel comfortable swimming normally. The price is great. So worth it! Just be warned, while swimming with the kiddos you will continuously be attacked by a shark and have to swim away screaming, which is exhausting. My newly 3 year old is obsessed with this! The snorkel doesn’t stay connected very well when not attached at the top, but that’s pretty minor. It has already provided hours of fun for him and entertainment for the rest of the family.
