Bedframe: So much storage!!! I'm downsizing from a full closet, 6 drawer dresser and a cedar chest to half a closet and whatever I can fit under my twin XL bed. I had to do a huge purge, but didn't get rid as much as I thought I would have to because of all this room under the bed. I'm really happy with this. I didn't realize how thick my mattress was tho until I put it on this thing, all together it's over 30" tall. I don't mind the climb too much, however my 12 lb dog barely makes it up... I am slightly worried about the other reviews that say it broke. One of the braces is slightly crooked, but for 60 bucks and amount of needed storage space, I'll risk it. What I would like to take a star off for is how long it took to get here. Once we moved in I needed it asap, but it took over two weeks. I was worried it wasn't going to get here at all! Or that it was somehow a scam. But I read one of these other reviews that said it took 2 weeks to get to her too, so I calmed down a little. It was really frustrating not only having a mattress on the floor and all my boxes in the living room, but the arrival date changed 3 times. The final time it said it'd get here on the 1st, which it didn't, when I checked it the next morning, the 2nd, to see if it made a new arrival date it just said "should have arrived on the 1st" Thanks, that's so much help... It was really irritating. I almost gave up and canceled the order several times to order something else but decided to wait because I really needed it and everything else was twice as much money! The next day I checked it yet again and it said arriving Monday the 5th, which it finally did, 15 business days after ordering. Bed skirt: The fit is great. I had always fought with my old, standard dust ruffle that covered the whole box spring. Whenever I had to move the bed to make it, it would get messed up and drove me crazy! With this, it just clips onto the edge and doesn't get scrunched when you slide the bed around! My only long-term concern are the plastic clips and how long they will last. They don't seem that flimsy and I don't plan on taking them off ever, but you never know. I hope they last forever because I love this thing. I'm not sure if you can buy replacement clips if they break, but that would be very nice if you could! ... show more

Size: King Color: White
King size bed. Metal zinus frame. Added a headboard. Have 18 inches under the bed for storage. Life was great, until I decided to put a regular bedskirt on. It slipped and made the mattress move around too. It was constantly uneven and you could see what we were hiding under the bed. We put up with having to push the bed back up every night for almost a year..... Not anymore! I put this new bedskirt on last night and it was so easy! Looks much better than the ruffled skirts. It does not move or have anything you have to put under the mattress. The clips work perfectly with the Zinus frame. And did I mention that it looks great! Even on all sides, hides the edges of the frame, and hides everything underneath the bed. It does not drag on the floor and has very clean lines. Don't bother wasting money on other bed skirts if you have the zinus 18" frame. Just get this one! A few other color choices would be nice, but the white works with my room in grey and white. ... show more

I lurked over this particular frame for weeks before finally deciding to buy it. Ive had my mattress on the floor for the last 2 years and after moving into a smaller room space, decided I needed a> more storage space, and b> to finally get my mattress off the ground. The frame was easy enough to put together. just a few hard twists using the included screws and bam. Instant frame. I needed another friend to help me maneuver the pieces in my tiny room, but overall took less than half an hour. I slept on it for one night, so far no accidents. I purchased a rubber lining ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074P4DTDF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) to keep the mattress from sliding around. For the most part, I had a secure night of sleep. No sagging on my cheap-off-brand-bought- off-the-discount-store-Full-sized mattress, so I guess time will tell. I am concerned about the reports of the bed collapsing after 6 months or so of use so I will be keeping my eye out and sleeping in the middle of the bed so nothing impales me. If there are no further updates, it means I have no problems with the frame or the bed collapsed and I got impaled in my sleep. So, lets see how this goes! Got this Bed Skirt to pair with the Zinus 18 inch Smart Base. What can I say? It covers up the ugly metal underside of the bed with a wrinkly white skirt. Please note that the drapes are only on 3 sides. So don't be a doofus like me and attach the velcro stickers before noting which side is up (headboard side) first. :) ... show more

    • Not for a child's bed
First, I will start off with saying the sewn-in clips that attach to the bed frame are neat. I also liked the crisp, neat lines in this bed skirt as seen in the product pictures, but was disappointed after the first time I changed my son's bed linens. I plan to save the clips. The skirt itself did not stay down when I was tucking the flat sheet under the foot of the bed. The skirt hung down in between the attachment points. I took it off and it is stuffed in the closet for now. If and when I get a bed skirt for his bed again, it will be one that goes over the frame and hangs from all or three of the sides. And maybe a skirt made with a heavier material, like canvas or denim. This skirt material is thin like a sheet, and wrinkles easily. My son uses storage totes under his bed for storing books and toys. I need a skirt to 'hide' all this stuff. But maybe I'll wait until he gets a little older or make one myself to fit our needs now. ... show more
