Wow, these are really nice. They're very comfortable, no need for a cover on them. I use them in both the summer and winter - they keep me warm in winter, but I also don't get too hot in summer. I don't use a sheet, just this comforter. I got two of the twin sized ones to replace one large queen comforter in my queen bed, and I would really recommend that for anyone with a partner. No sheets, just the comforter. We each now have our own comforters, no more cover stealing! These wash pretty well. Because we're not using covers, and not using sheets, I do wash these much more frequently than I would typically wash a comforter. It says to air dry them, so, I leave them draped over my elliptical to dry them. So far they've held up well. But there is some pilling. ... show more

The microfiber sheets are soft at first and the price is hard to beat if you’re furnishing a guest room or need a quick replacement. They washed up fine initially, but after a few cycles, I noticed minor pilling and slight shrinkage (though they still fit my mattress).
