This is really comfortable. I like the way it shapes to my body. The only thing I don't like about it is that even though I have deep pocket sheets, they're not big enough. The sheet always ends up just around it. I have really bad back pain and this is definitely been helping. If you have pain issues this will definitely help. I would have loved to have this when I was on bed rest. So far I haven't had too many heat issues with it. I'm not overheating. I decided to put the mattress protector underneath it on the actual mattress this on top. I would order this again but I think I would have been better off ordering a one and a half inch. Per the reviews, this was cooling for people that sleep hot. I wish it was--I was hotter than on my regular mattress. Could not find any cooling when putting my hand up to it even. I was going to return, but when I removed from mattress, my cat decided to use as a scratching post and shredded a portion. So, unable to return. The product arrived timely and in regards to quality it seemed like it hit its price point. For me personally when it comes to comfort this topper compressed very quickly and seemed to not be as dense as other memory foam toppers I’ve purchased in the past. Of course with it compressing so easily it didn't do much for my pain relief. I didn’t notice any horrible smells that don’t go away. I have an expensive memory foam mattress which was to firm. I did not sleep well and would wake up with back pain and still tired. I purchased the Zenus cooling mattress with doubt and thought I would have to return it. NOT!!! I love it!! No more back pain, I sleep through the night and wake up refreshed! It did slide a bit but easy to adjust and or put a blanket or there material under it so it doesn't slide.
