I first slept on a Zinus mattress a couple of months ago at an Air BnB. That was the best sleep I had in a long time. It was so comfortable I had to lift up the sheets to find out what kind. To my surprise a Zinus! I began researching immediately and settled on the Ultra cooling gel mattress. The mattress sleeps like a dream. It’s firm but soft in all of the right places. I don’t sink down in and can turn over with ease in the middle of the night. The cooling gel works well. I’m a HOT sleeper and I can tell a significant difference with the cooling mattress. Unboxing and putting on the bed was easy. The mattress fluffed up within a few hours. The instructions said to go ahead and sleep on it and I do the first night with no issues. I’ve had the mattress for a week now and I’ve slept so good every night!

As others have said this mattress is softer than other foam mattresses but I'm willing to forego the added support to be able to stay cool at night. I have a tempurpedic mattress and as an older person that gets hot flashes I wake up multiple times during the night when the mattress heats up underneath me, so I bought this for my guest room and during the summer I sleep there. It works very well to keep me cooler at night and I sleep much better than on my tempurpedic.

So I’m a college student and I did not want to spend 1000 dollars on a mattress. However this mattress is great. I have the semi firm one that’s 10” and it’s honestly the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever had and my bed growing up was memory foam completely. I’ve had the mattress a little under a year now and it’s still as comfy as ever. Inflates pretty quick and isn’t ridiculously heavy to move around. For the like cover of it (I don’t know the correct term) I’ve washed it a few times from various coffee stains and the mattress is still as good as new.you do have to be careful when you take it off just because of how the mattress is layered but I sent it through my pretty subpar college apartment washer and drier and everything is still comfy. Honestly no complaints and I’m glad I got this mattress and I’m hoping to keep it with me for a while!
