Love this product! I bought this for my 18 year old son’s bed. We didn’t want to replace his cheap mattress because we know he’ll be leaving for college soon, but he sleeps hot and as an athlete he works his muscles and joints to the max daily, and needed a topper to help with aches and pains. He tells us that since adding this to his bed, along with some great bamboo sheets, he has had the best sleep ever and hasn’t woken up hot or achy since. Now the problem is getting him out of bed!!! LOL!

Item arrived quickly, when I unrolled it there was no odor but after sitting for 24 hours I looked at it and thought MEH this thing is rather skimpy and useless looking, the shallow swirls and waves didn't seem to make any sense, so I made the bed figuring I had wasted another bunch of money at Amazon. That night I tried it out. What ??? it is great, just the right amount of poof to make my firm mattress comfy cozy without sinking into a pile of foam. I highly recommend this simple foam pad it was supposed to be cooling but I don't feel it, actually kind of warm, but I figure that will be nice this winter.

For the price point, I wasn't expecting much, maybe a small layer of cushion between my sheets and the stabbing springs of my mattress. I was further diminished by the small packaging it came in, thinking it would be a glorified blanket. When I unwrapped it, I saw how it looked barely 1cm in thickness, and shook my head when I realized it was folded in half, so it would be even smaller. And then I unraveled it. It rose gloriously like a poofed dough. The hills and valleys of the patterns came to life right in front of my eyes, kind of like the bounce castle getting inflated. I was impressed, though in the back of my head I was expecting it to be deflated and uncomfortable under my weight once I laid down, but I am writing about a month after using it very satisfied with it. I still do feel my springs but its not the sharp jab it used to be. It might shift since there is nothing tying it down, but for the average adult it should be fine. My boyfriend did cause it to ride up but just because he likes to roll around in bed and jump in and out of it, but it's an easy fix as just one part of it will come out of place and u can just lift a corner of the sheet to nudge it back. No need to completely redo the bed. All in all great purchase and definitely glad I didn't waste money on more expensive alternatives.

I bought this for my sleeper sofa and it will work as intended there (taming a stiff mattress). I decided to give it a try it on my bed; but, that experiment only lasted 30 minutes. I was "burning up" with that on the bed and there was no way that I'd get any sleep. So, as long as you're not buying this for the supposed cooling effect, you'll be fine.

Had this on my bed after allowing it to sit out 48 hours as instructed. Used for 3 weeks . I used kid gloves so as not to damage because I had seen where others said they tore. I figured they must have pulled on them or something. But I moved this week …. Week 4 I rolled item up tight for move. When I let it roll out at my new place there was indeed a crack in it. I would like to return and item says you can uptick November but when I click on return on Amazon there is no options to return. Refund or exchange. Idk! Was very satisfied had nothing bad to say thus far until I saw the crack. Oh well.

I sleep hot. I have sciatica and RLS. I tend to wake up exhausted, and in pain. So I bought the 1" mattress pad, just to test it out. I had my first night's sleep which was more than three hours for the first time in over a year after putting this on my bed. I didn't think the 1" would do much, but I wasn't willing to commit to a thicker one without testing first. This mattress pad is really comfortable. In spite of only being 1" thick, it was firm enough that I wasn't sinking to my overly hard mattress, (which seems to get harder all the time,) yet it was soft enough to be comfortable. I didn't wake up sweating in the desert heat either. It stayed cool all night, and it was during the worst part of July that I received this. And it doesn't have that annoying egg crate bumpiness. I would recommend this to anyone who sleeps hot.
