The media could not be loaded. Product visual 9/10 The gimbal has a very solid construction that is very sleek and feels like a small form factor. This can be a very difficult device to use for those who do not have experience with a gimble so the product should have a minimalist layout that makes it simple and intuitive to use, which your product has. The USB-C connection is a great feature that should be standardized in all serviceable devices, it shows consumers that manufacturers have incorporated the USB-C in their product designs very recently. Usability 8/10 It took a few tries to get the gimbal to stabilize properly but that was due to my improperly setting up the gimbal before powering it on. Here is a pro tip that I didn't know but you have to fully extend the "arm" when you use it because it has connection pins that must make contact in order for the gimbal to work. Once it's connected, you turn it on and it starts immediately working. You have 4 stabilization modes to choose from and what I actually like about this unit is that it has a "selfie" mode that has a selfie light. Very nice touch. Conclusion I really enjoyed the product design of this gimble, it feels sturdy and it has a minimal amount of buttons that does not make the device confusing to the user but it has a few downfalls. The selfie light is also a really good idea for those that may do vlogging or facetime with callers in a dark area. The app that is provided frustrated me the most just because of its design and layout, other than that you can honestly use the gimbal without having to use the app. The app just allows more customization of the gimbal. Overall, it does what it's meant to do and it does good. Once I use this a bit more in-depth, I will update this review accordingly. ... show more

Oh wow! This gimbal support iPhone 13 Pro Max 6.7 inch even with a case on. I was able to shoot 2 hours straight and the gimbal doesn't even feel hot. This tells me that the gimbal is well balance and isn't working too hard and drain the battery. Speaking of battery, the battery last a long time, I used it for a few days without charging it or anything. I was surprised it booted up the next day. ... show more

If you're only using it with the phone and no accessories attached to the phone, you can use this up to an iPhone max (if carefully balanced. However, the locknut that you should be able to use on the extendible gimbal arm doesn't work. I liked the gimbal enough to order a second one and return the first, but the second one I just received, also won't lock. The arm slides up and down easily regardless of whether you have the lock nut firmly tightened or not. The gimbal arm does stay in place, as it clicks into place so I could use and test it out, but I don't feel comfortable using it without being able to lock the extendible arm in place, so, unfortunately, returning the second one rather than replacing. Even so, I'm trying the Smooth 5, because after testing with the Q3, I decided that a heavier duty gimbal was better for my needs as I intend to add some accessories to my phone. I was planning on sending the Q3 to my daughter for her use, but now it's just going to be returned. Must be a simple quality control problem with the current batch as I cannot find anyone else with this issue. ... show more

Like: easy to use, comes with a case Dislike: it is hard to understand the difference between modes and choose the right one. It takes a lot of practice to be very smooth. Also I could not figure out doing a tilt down from high above to a low angle and have the gimbal follow in a stable and level image. Don’t say you weren’t warned! This thing sucks! Battery lasts a couple times, then renders it useless! I should have listened to the bad reviews. Soon as the return window is up this thing starts screwing up. Only used it 3 times in the month of return window. Charged it up, then it works for 1 minute than fails. Booo! ... show more

It works well with my Samsung Galaxy S9+, S10+, and Note10 Plus. But, unfortunately my Note20 Ultra is too large. I was under the impression it came with a case as advertised and it did. not and I may return it as it was advertised showing it with a case for the price. I was disappointed about that other than that it is of good quality and I cannot wait to use it. Also, I thought it folded flat and could fit in your pocket or purse easily and it does not.
