These are beautiful stools in a gorgeous teal color. However, the cylinder support doesn't allow the chairs to "scooch" forward even on hard wood floors. In fact, they dig in and will damaged the floors. Also, the seat is narrow. So if any of your guests are large, they will not fit comfortably in these chairs. How embarrassing for your guest!? Vendor offered to take them back at $90/set for shipping. Half the price of the chairs. I bought 2 sets. Sold one set and keeping the other for my husband, me and not large guests. I'll buy saddle stools to complete the seating. I don't recommend these chairs with the cylinder platform. If you must have this color and style, go with their 4-leg option.
