I bought these to use at work. I didn't want a key lock because I knew I would eventually forget to bring the key. These are easy to program. I bought these locks for my fiberglass sail box. I figured since anybody who really wanted in could get in with a hammer, that my locks didn’t have to be super heavy duty. I was expecting a smaller lock and was pleasantly surprised with the size and heft of this lock. Have been using this lock on a backyard gate all summer. Works well enough though the tumblers feel sort of flimsy and they sometimes don't line up well and you have to wiggle them out of their bad path. The first snow fell and the tumblers froze up completely. I had to take the lock indoors to thaw. Switching to a better lock for outside. This lock is probably better for indoor use than outside. Might put it back in the spring ... show more
