The material is at lovely soft thick knit. The shape is a bit boxy but I think that is the style. I’m hoping it does not shrink because it’s barely long enough. With high waisted pants, it overlaps only by an inch or so. If you are super long wasted, it will probably be too short. This is more of a winter to spring transition piece. It might be a little warm to wear on hot summer days. I was a little disappointed when I first got it because it didn't seem all that exciting in person, but it does look a lot better once its on. The knit is very soft. Runs slightly small unless you have a petite frame. I am a regular size medium and it fits but not quite as baggy on me as in the model photos. This is such a nice top. The fabric is more sweater knit than synthetic, and it is really soft. The colors are vibrant, and the stripes are matched front to back. The top appears to be well constructed with nicely finished details. The fabric lays softly on. I have washed and dried in the dryer, and it comes out beautifully with no wrinkles when I take it out right away. When I didn't, it wrinkled and responded very well to an iron. I followed the size chart and ordered a medium, which is the same size as most of my size small tops. I think it's important to follow Zesica's size chart when ordering.
