Good solid 1/4” steel, adequate for adding on to a zero turn to pull a cart. I added a 2” piece of square aluminum stock I had my mower and then bolted to it to get to some better stress point on the mower. This will vary in need based on your mowers design. This will add more functionality to the mower and will be very durable. Good value if you count your time and materials, you couldn’t make it for what you can buy it for.     • Great hitch pin, good enough hitch, stamped steel outperforms but this works just fine.

Quality pin and relatively solid hitch mount. I actually went with another mount that uses some stamped reinforcement to add some rigidity to the hitch, I've found that after a while these ones can bend if you torque them wrong but I haven't had an issue with the stamped steel ones ironically enough. The pin is solid though and thats what I really needed. Having a backup hitch is great but the pin style makes things super simple to hook up. could even forget the cotter pin and it would still work fine. ... show more
