I absolutely love this birdcage, and for the price it’s great! But lotssss of flaws. This bird cage came bent In many places. We were able to bend the leg a little more so we can use it. Luckily it’s not as bent as some of the other reviews. But the leg being bent was the worst probably. Let's be honest folks, we all know where this stuff is being made and shipped from, okay? I've built a few animal cages myself and let me tell ya, they don't make it easy for ya here. It's expensive and a buttload of work. This cage arrived with a small bend in one area of the bars; it doesn't pose any safety threats and it can be overlooked. The aesthetic look is just a powder coat, underneath is wrought iron. Just be careful with it and take care of your things. If it chips, just make sure it doesn't become so rusted it falls off its hinges...but that's very unlikely. Those were the cons. Now lemme tell you what I love. The overall look, sturdiness, convenience, bang for your buck, good size for most small to medium birds I'd say (happily put a cockatiel in there). So there's a lot to love. It does surprise you how small it *seems*, but read the measurements folks, like...c'mon, but it's actually quite large and roomy. We'll see how this holds up after some use. I'm generally careful with my things, but so far I'm impressed. It's better than I had hoped, and I'm giving it my approval, even taking the time to write a review which I do rarely! ... show more

The cage bowls are too deep for a cockatiel and conure, top of cage is not secured down, front latch for bottom tray protrudes out, catches on my leg & won't stay latch ( I don't use the seed catch tray) and the top play area - no small bird can reach in a bowl without difficulty. I have a conure and this cage is not sized for a Large parrot, as a large parrot could never extends its feathers for comfort. The conure is about as large a bird you want in this cage. Now I can send it back to them - get a refund and lose $39.99 for shipping, but I am stuck with trying to sell it on my own. ... show more

if you can get this cage at a local pet store, do that. We got it (7 days later than expected) and the item was damaged to hell and back. The box was basically falling apart, and the item itself was bent HARD in several parts. Each part had damage of it's own to it, but I stopped taking pictures around the 4th item. Maybe the shippers through fedex just chucked ours to Argentina and back or something, but it took a HUGE beating. I will say that the return process was painless, as it was a "returnless refund", and now I get to go weld something out of this. Maybe a bird stand out of it or something. (Silver linings?) That being said, the cage itself is a great cage, if it hadn't been battered around, and had a bit more packing, (maybe foam instead of bubble wrap?) I'm sure it would have survived. We're planning to get it a local shop we recently found that carries it, and it's perfect for our cockatiel, who will basically live in this mansion (for her) of a cage. I'd no way put anything bigger than a cockatiel in the 61" one though. Decent cage, and a good deal, just but it local if you can and save yourself the pain of what we went through. ... show more
