    • Great looking Shower Curtain rod. A little flimsy, but looks solid to the eye.

I gave it four stars because we don't have a THREE AND HALF STARS rating. That is really what this is, a 3-STAR item, that gets another 1/2 STAR due to its appearance. This Shower Curtain Rod looks great to the eye - in that its attractive (maybe more so than the pictures), and very easy to assemble (as long as you don't mind working with TINY little Allen wrenches). The Allen wrenches that came with the kit where fine, but I ended up using some of my own because I had longer ones that allowed me to grip better. The material is THIN - I mean, like nearly PAPER thin. You can bend it with just a little pressure in your hands. This bar will not support any significant weight, and I though that it might bow a bit with the weight of the shower curtains. It hasn't yet, but I will see what happens over time. I suspect it may need reinforcing at some point, but we'll see. For now, this curtain works exactly as planed, and the bowed design makes the shower feel bigger. I can recommend this item, with the caveat that you have your own set of metric Allen wrenches (because this item is made in the People's Republic of China, not the People's Republic of California), and make sure to use a good level when you are adjusting the bar so it comes out PERFECT! ... show more

Love this shower rod for a small bathroom where hanging towels is tough. I didn’t have space for traditional towel rods so I was able to put this on my shower and hang the towels on the outside of the curtain. Not the easiest to hang on tile but it seems sturdy once it’s up!

TLDR at bottom, I got this for our tiny modular home bathroom that is shared between 3 adults and 2 kids and it is so nice! Instead of the shower curtain sticking to our elbow or getting in the way, I don’t touch it at all! I have SO MUCH elbow room now it is insane lol. We freaking love it! ESPECIALLY my husband who is like 6’2 with long ass arms lol. We installed the rod about a foot higher than the old one to make the shower look nicer and bigger (same thing you do with window curtains) and even thought our walls are weird and not straight it allows you to adjust the angle which is great. * DO A TEST RUN! Like put your shower curtain on it and have someone help you hold it up where you want to install it to make sure the curtain isn’t going too far out to where water could spray on your walls. We forgot to take into account when we installed it in the same depth into the shower as the old one that the curtain is going to go out inches farther lol so it’s like when you’re in the shower it’s not just the shower wall you can see but the actual wall wall lol so we gotta be careful not to spray it but it hasn’t been an issue so far because we installed it so high up. So just make sure it’s where you want it. But if we had installed it farther in, then it would have just ended up being in the same spot as the old one lol. TLDR; Buy it, you’ll love it, I feel so darn fancy, easy to pop together and install, SO MUCH room it’s insane, why didn’t I get this sooner? ... show more

Nice, inexpensive shower rod. But the metal is pretty thin. I would be afraid to hang more than 2 wet towels on it. There are plastic covers to conceal the mounting brackets. These are cheap, plastic things that pop off easily (intentionally or otherwise). OK shower rod, but I would not buy it again. ... show more

I really like the color, it has 2 rods, where my inner shower curtain liner can be in the tub, and my outer curtain can be used for privacy when needed - and the outer curtain stays outside the tub. The curved design gives much appreciated room from the liner while taking a shower. It is easy to get used to 2 separate curtains, even though I used to have a single rod with rollers that held both curtains. The shower curtain rod was relatively easy to install, as long as you remember that the screws on the inner rod go on the bottom. I was able to find studs for the brackets, so the curtain rod is firmly in place. It was a little difficult to use the adjustable screws to level the rod, but I did get it level on both sides. Also, I noticed that if you screw the initial fasteners too tight in the brackets, there is a slight deflection. I think you can see that in one of the photos.
