This worked really well for my home owner needs. But having used this type of magnetic drill in a commercial trade use, this isn’t in the same league. Will it work for drilling 4” hole saw holes in the side of my shipping container? Yes it was more than powerful enough. I have not used it for anything other than the drill chuck, so no comment on the other annular bits. They seem ok. But we all know how bits can be. The tool steel is the key to a good drill bit and the Chinese aren’t known for that. I did have to make some wiring/fuse changes to make this work better and safer. I replaced the 20Amp fuse for two slightly smaller circuit breakers. And then wired them to trip when the drill motor drew too much (15amp) and a 5amp for the magnet. This allows the operator to easily reset the motor without out the magnet loosing power. Should have been set up like that originally and I would have given it 5 stars. I also cut a short piece of unistrut to hold the drill up in the air while storing and setting up. I put in the “ways” and it helped me a lot to set it up. Man this thing is a beast. I swear it weighs 60 lbs just the drill. The bits seem to be of strong and durable quality, but time will be the determining factor. If your on the fence or tired of burning up hand held drills I would highly recommend.

drill was the second one I bought. defective switch on both. returned the first one and got a refund. ordered the second one and same thing happened. I missed the 30 day return by 2 days. now I have a drill that will not work.
