This sink after 1 week is scratching.. just setting a plate in there has made small scratches .. I set a pan on my counter and it must of been near the outer lip and sure enough another scratch. I love this sink. The color is gorgeous. We were initially concerned about it being over-the-top, but it works perfectly in our newly remodeled kitchen. A bit of care is all it needs - we've had it for about a year, and it still looks as good as it did the day we installed it. It feels VERY large, even though it is not. Two small issues: The sink was NOT designed for use with a garbage disposal. You can make it work, but the drain opening is very small, and using the gold rim with the disposal raises it up about a millimeter above the bottom of the sink and makes it hard to get stuff into the drain. UPDATE: Turns out you don’t need to put that insert in, and Insinkerator actually manufactures a gold colored flange (available on Amazon, as is a gold-colored sink plug for it) that you can use to replace the silver one your disposal came with. So, if you have an Insinkerator-brand disposal you are, pardon the pun, GOLDEN. That doesn’t change the fact that the bottom of the sink is FLAT. It is not tapered down to the drain like most sinks I've used before, meaning that water and other stuff just sits there. With the disposal issue, (resolved), this makes it particularly difficult to sweep stuff down the drain. Still true, though better now with the new flange in place. ... show more

Can’t say enough about how beautiful this sink is. Took my remodel to a new level. Great quality thick metal. Only draw back was the hold down bolts need some better quality. Would recommend to anyone looking for that wow factor
