I like this line, it's smooth and cast good and as often as you need to change monofilament anyway, zebcos have a tendency to twist line but this is great for the price, just test it on one of your reels and use it for a few times I think you will save money from now on and reds disappear better in the water ... show more

Own a lot of this, love the pony spools for ease of re-spooling. Fav line, ranks up there with XL, which I also use. XL is better above 14 pounds, but Red is, IMHO, as good or better, and definitely a better value, at 14' and below. Ande Backcountry is still tops, but you have to work too hard to find it... ... show more

Just realize that this is fluro so it won’t sink as well. I’m using for jerk baits so isn’t a huge deal. Mono is typically good for top water baits because it will float instead of sink like braid and fluro.
