As others have stated, the initial impression is that these paddles are an outstanding value. But the paint across the center, which has a 'grittier' surface for improving ball spin, began to flake off after my first time using the paddle. This process continues each time I play. I suspect I will have worn off most of this layer sometime over the next 5 or so times I play. UPDATE: Zdle reached out to me quickly to address the issue I related in my review. I believe the paddles, overall, are a great value, and the responsiveness of the company is why I am adding a star.

**Update: I want to acknowledge the excellent customer service and responsiveness from the company that sold this pickleball set. They responded to my concern about the rackets without me reaching out to them. You will not find this level of service from many companies any more and I hope to buy other items from them in the future. Customer satisfaction means everything!! My Issue: I am a beginner pickleball player and this set of rackets was my first purchase. I have had the rackets for 3 months and have only had time to play about once a week at most. Unfortunately, the paint on the rackets keeps chipping off every time I am playing and it is a little embarrassing that sometimes when I hit the ball, white paint chips fly into the air! 😂 On one side of rhe racket, I finally peeled off all of the paint so nobody would figure out what was happening. You can see how it is happening on all the other sides, so it will just be a matter of time before they are plain black paddles. Besides that, the rackets have been fine as a beginner racket. I would likely not buy this item again if I had the choice, paint chips litter the whole court.

I found this set to meet key things I was looking for. A carbon fiber surface was a must for me. The paddle is light weight and has a good balance to it. I played tennis for 20 years but I am a beginner to pickleball. I was looking for a paddle that was going to be a bit better than a beginner paddle without spending a pro paddle price. This is a solid set and I found it to be the best fit for the money.....very happy with the purchase.

These paddles are very light weight, very comfortable and seem to be decent quality. I have used one 4 times and the other one once. Both paddles have major painting flaking off of them! I play indoor and the paint gets everywhere. UPDATE: After review they contacted me and offered a full refund. I feel they have fully resolved this issue! Thanks
