Choose between the 2-piece pole set and the 3-piece pole set; with all other components exactly the same. The 2-piece pole set is designed with premium galvanized steel that measures 1-5/8" in diameter and stands 10' 3" in height. The 3-piece pole set is also designed with premium galvanized steel and measures 1-1/2" in diameter and stands 10' 6" in height. Galvanized steel not only provides exceptional stability, it's superior at withstanding harsh weather. The poles also resist rusting, so you can enjoy the game for years to come. Each tetherball set includes a 12" in-ground pole sleeve, a heavy-duty nylon cord that measures 7' in length and 6 mm in diameter, and a compact hand pump with 2 inflation needles. Also included is a regulation sized, machine- stitched Soft Touch tetherball that features a nylon-wound bladder, an inset valve stem and an internal steel swivel hook attachment which secures the ball to the cord. I love this set, It was delivered rather quickly and I am impressed with the product. One down fall make sure your cement sets up good before playing the game. You do have to dig a hole and place the pvc piping and cement it down.So if your wanting to play right away it won't happen. I do however like that we can remove the tetherball when we mow and do other yard activities and it's not always there. The ball has came off the rope clasp but no biggie tied it back but we play it hard. We don't do easy light taps. I loved this game growing up and am not scared to smack the ball. The ball does seem a lot lower than I remember after placing the tetherball set in the pvc piping in the ground but then again last time I personally played it was years ago in grade school. You could adjust it if you wanted to. Over all I am a very happy camper with the product. ... show more

I've held off on buying a tetherball because I figured it'd be a pain to install. This was easy! We got the 2 part pole, and it's thick and sturdy. We didn't follow the instructions exactly, but our installation was a breeze! My husband dug the hole with a shovel, I put 2 pieces of duct tape on the bottom of the black sleeve and held the sleeve in place while hubby poured FAST SETTING CONCRETE around it. Instead of putting something on top of the sleeve to weigh it down as instructed, we put the pole in and used a level and adjusted it until it was perfectly straight. (You have to level from two sides). Since we used fast setting concrete, it was starting to set within 10 minutes, so once it was level, we removed the pole and let it set. It takes only 2 hours for the fast-setting concrete, so we were playing that evening! The pole still has some movement in the sleeve, but that doesn't interfere with play, and I suspect we can put a shim between the pole and the sleeve if it bugs us. Fast, easy, and fun! ... show more

This is very fun, haven't played since elementary school so when I saw it...we had to have it. Our kids and the neighbor kids all love it, the reason for 4 stars is the pole is a little wobbly where it attaches together. We cemented into ground but where the poles connect isn't a super tight fit. Still happy with purchase:) ... show more

We purchased this tether ball set so our family could have something fun to do in our backyard during quarantine. After several rounds over a 36-hr period, the ball broke off from the tether rope - and just when we were getting good at playing! I reached out to the manufacturer who responded almost immediately (yay!) and they told me they would send us another ball right away (yay!). Here we are, about 7 weeks later and we have received no replacement. I've reached out to inquire, but have not received any response. Obviously, we ordered a ball from another manufacturer because the kids wanted to get playing again, but we are so disappointed that the manufacturer didn't stand by its product and do what they said they would do. ... show more
